Food was delicious, hot, fresh, ready when they said. I accept ordered double and NONE was wasted. Worth the $$. Can’t wait for them to open back up in Lee’s Summit.

Ordered food for Mothers day dinner. Worst experience from a restaurant ever. Food was waaaay overcooked. I definitely DO NOT recommend this joke of an establishment. Sat at curbside for over an hour after my specified time. They messed up and my food had sat in a warming box for an hour. It was cold and hard as a rock. They were rude to me in return. Never prayed a place doesn't make it, but F this place.

My wife and I have lived in the KC metro area for over 20 years. We hadn’t ever tried Stroud’s as it was out of our way and just didn’t think about it when we were going out to eat. I noticed they recently opened a new store in Lees Summit so we decided to give it a try. I had been CRAVING gizzards so of course I order them as well as a chicken dinner. It took quite a long time for our food to be ready to go but I waited in their lobby until it was done. I got all the way home and realized that they forgot to include the gizzards. I called the store back and spoke to the manager. He apologized and said that I could either drive back into town to get them or he would send me a gift card to make up for their error. I said to just send the gift card to me and I gave him our home address. That was 3 months ago and still no gift card. Bad service TWICE in our first experience, we won’t be going back. I guess we will just find gizzards somewhere else & hope I actually get what I ordered and paid for!!!!

The food was delicious. Excellent online ordering system, friendly staff, accurate and timely order! The food is just amazing.

I hardly ever write reviews but this was That bad. They have only managed to get 1 out of my 4 orders correct of the four times we have picked up I have been short a substantial amount of food each time. The last order tonight I even asked them to triple check the order because the order was wrong last time and again short a major amount of food. Seems as if KC Hops has mismanaged this KC favorite. Sadly, won’t be returning.

The staff is fabulous and very professional. However, the food is very lightly seasoned and may have to be doctored at home. This establishment does give you a nice amount of food for your money, but I will not return.

Morgon is the best manager. So sweet. Runs the building well. Good was great.

Food was cold and just not as good as remembered. Chicken not crisp. Order wrong. Packed 2 big meals in one sack. So sorry. I hope this helps to improve and save this restaurant. Rolls were good.

So good! Online ordering and curbside pickup made the process painless. The staff was super friendly!

My food was FRESH & SO good! Ask for Stacy she is VERY helpful! She ensured my order was correct & fresh! She helped with any concerns or questions I had!

I will be so glad when I feel comfortable going into restaurants again! I ordered take out for 6:30 pickup and got there at 6:25. All the food was all ready sitting in a box. No telling how long it was prepared ahead of time. Wasn't even warm at all in my eight minute drive home. I would rather have to wait on the food to pick it up than have it ready ahead of time. I guess I just need to show up 20 minutes early and hopefully wait on it. Also our appetizer order of bites was supposed to be spicy like the receipt said and it wasn't.

We got takeout on 1/2/21 & were disappointed. Definitely not the quality we're used to at other locations. The legs in the all dark dinner were hardly coated at all & the seasoning wasn't quite right. The gravy we love had the correct flavor, but was runny. The cinnamon rolls were doughy. All-in-all, not a good experience.

Went in on Christmas eve and ordered gravy, green beans and a dozen rolls. The gravy was as thin as water and the rolls taste like dough. I love strouds up North and go frequently but this location is nothing like the one up North.

I can't believe I am giving a sub-par review to one of my favorite places, but at this point in time it deserves it. I have seen restaurants come and go in Lee's Summit, so when Stroud's moved in I thought, "Finally, the perfect place to fit the Lee's Summit audience." It seems others thought the same thing, because when we went to pick up our food (there is no in-restaurant dining) it was pretty crowded. We ordered the family meal (12 pieces of chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and the famous cinnamon rolls). I was so looking forward to this meal, and I was so disappointed. I don't know if it has to do with not getting the food and eating it at your table right away or not, but the food--particularly the cinnamon rolls and gravy--was way below Stroud's standard excellence. I didn't check the to-go containers in the restaurant, so when we got home and found the cinnamon rolls way overcooked, I blamed it on myself for not checking it before taking it away. But when we went to put gravy on the potatoes and it ran out just a little thicker than whole milk, I was really disappointed. It was like someone forgot to put thickener in it. The green beans and chicken was excellent, but I don't think those two things alone are worth the price and effort. I wish Stroud's would consider putting a full restaurant in LS; I know it would do very well. But I don't think this express idea really comes close to what one would expect from the brand.

Oh baby, what a play! This is a to go spot. So don't have the same expectations that you do at the restaurant. If they cook it well and give you good service and are timely. Awesome job. They did great for me and I was full and happy. They are still working out minor details. They did meet my expectations. Take it home and tell the person you love. Look at what I made for you. If its not right they will make it right. Mistakes happen. Double check your order. I think it's great they are here in Lee's Summit. Now if we could lure Garozzo's back.
