Summit Hickory Pit BBQ

Went In for a late lunch, and had a to go order to go along with it. We had a great lunch, food was good and hot. To go order was on time and correct. The server (Ashley) was excellent, had been awhile thru numerous visits at numerous restaurants, where we had such good service!

I found the service to be very good the staff was extremely friendly and made you feel like you were at home. The decor is somewhat rustic but up-to-date very nice spacious seating comfortable seating. The menu is priced in accordance with the regional pricing of barbecue per pound I would rate it medium expenditure with an average price including tip of about $20 a person without dessert. Waiter was good and helpful. There brisket wasn't my favorite very thin sliced meat, I like it about a1/4" thick and juicy. This was not that at all like that, it reminded me of a school lunch. I wish I would have tried the ribs instead. There pork was ok and the burnt ends were nice and tender! Others in my group said the turkey and sausage was really good.
