The Fillmore cafe is somewhat of a hidden gem in Lee's Summit. I love the warm and inviting ambience and classy design of the space.
The cafe supports local artists by features rotating displays from local artisans, and an affirmative crowd is always gathered on the first Thursdays for an acoustic open mic.

I have to make a separate post just to shout out to Jeremy and Jody, the owners of The Fillmore Café.
These two are quite possibly two of the best humans, no joke. From answering all of my questions to walking through the venue and helping plan how to set up to allowing us to use their conference room to do as much as we could last night.
