“I just had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner there. We used the new event space. We had plenty of room, it was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Especially Kathleen, she stayed in contact with me and help coordinate as needed. The food was awesome. The best chicken salad I've ever eaten for one, but everything was delicious and wonderful. I will definitely be using them again.”

“There was some issues with the ordering and the stress of a new opening, but I understood the issues. It took a while to get order but it was well worth the wait. All of these issues will work out as they are open longer. I will most definatly return.”

“First time last night and exceeded expectations. The shrimp alfredo and shrimp alvino were excellent. My son and I shared the chocolate layer cake that was decadent. Tracy our waitress was phenomenal. She gave us recommendations and definitely a list that we will be trying on our many return visits. So happy we have a top quality restaurant in Blue Springs with an excellent price point. Highly recommend, love everything including the music and ambiance. 10/10!”

“Canoe Club is an absolute gem—100% lake life vibes with some of the best food in KC! Perfect for happy hour and date night but also one of my VERY picky kids’ favorite restaurants. The servers are fun and the drinks and menu are excellent—Canoe Club Chicken is out of this world, and dinner isn’t complete without their cheesecake of the week!”

“We love coming to Shakin’. It is definitely a hidden gem. Sadly, tonight was a let down. We got here and there were several seats at the bar that we were told were supposedly “taken”. A large group came in and were told to take the seats. They were served quickly. We waited 15-20 minutes to even be acknowledged by the bar staff. Would have been nice to at least been welcomed and told be with you shortly. When the bartender finally made eye contact and came over, his excuse was “sorry, there’s only two of us!” We’ve been here when the place was packed and never experienced this service. We literally almost walked out. Miss the “old” bartenders who were attentive and quick to take care of customers.”

“Stopped here yesterday for the first time . The pulled pork and Turkey sandwiches were out of this world. The pasta salad was amazing, I had never had a pasta salad like that before. My husband said the Pumpkin pie was one of the best he has had. I had said I wanted some good bbq while on vacation and this exceeded my expectations.”
