Great food. ❤️ this place!
Canoe Club is an absolute gem—100% lake life vibes with some of the best food in KC! Perfect for happy hour and date night but also one of my VERY picky kids’ favorite restaurants. The servers are fun and the drinks and menu are excellent—Canoe Club Chicken is out of this world, and dinner isn’t complete without their cheesecake of the week!

Based on the reviews, Canoe Club Restaurant is an absolute gem with 100% lake life vibes and some of the best food in KC. It is a favorite place in East Jackson County, perfect for happy hour, date night, or a simple week night cooking dinner replacement. The food is amazing, with menu items like Canoe Club Chicken, Phish tacos, Mahi Melt, Steak sando, Prime Rib, and Fish Tacos and Margarita's on Thursday nights. The Cobb salad and fresh, homemade soup are also excellent. Kids love the grilled cheese, said to be the best in the city. Dinner is not complete without their cheesecake of the week. The owners and waitstaff through the years have been just great, with friendly, welcoming, and professional service. The servers are fun and always on top of things. The charming lake ambiance includes a comfortable and spacious patio. They occasionally have live music, which is always a relaxed good time. The comprehensive bottle beer, wine, and liquor selection is excellent. The overall vibe will keep customers coming back for more.
