“Wok Express has become my local go to. I usually go with the (Springfield) Fried Cashew Chicken and gravy or Sesame Chicken with fried rice.The crab Rangoon are old school where they are more savory than sweet. I do wish they had a St. Paul Sandwich. Give this place a try.“

“Nothing fancy, just went for the meat and potatoes of it to test the water here (plain fried rice and 2 egg rolls). You can tell the fried rice wasn't cooked in years old oil like many other establishments, and the egg rolls tasted more like fresh veggies than anything. Again, nothing fancy, but for the amount of rice they gave me in a properly resealable container, and for the price, I'll give it 5 stars. Friendly and attentive staff at the front counter.“

“This China King is under New Management and when I tell you I went at the beginning of November 2024, ordered Chicken Egg foo yu and Fried gizzards .... DELICIOUS!!! The gravy on the Chicken egg foo yu is so good and their Fried gizzards are the best in St Louis, they practically melt in your mouth and the onions help make the flavor. And the food was fresh, hot and soooo good. This husband and wife team know how to cook, they are respectful and kind, and have not only my respect but will have my business from now on. Thank you!!! “What a neat place! It seems like they're just getting started with a brick and mortar venue, so they were a little understaffed for the traffic they were experiencing when we visited. If you’re willing to be patient, the reward is worth it. My wife and I split the Bombay Falafels w. Creamy Hummus. The falafels were tasty and fresh, so moist that they really didn’t need the hummus. I had the Chick’n Tikka bowl with fried rice. That fried rice is AMAZING. It was so light, fluffy, and flavorful, I could have eaten my weight in the stuff. The sauce and seasoning combo on the vegan chicken were also incredibly good. My wife had the Butt’r Tofu bowl and we were a little less impressed. The tofu was fine but the sauce tasted a bit like spiced up Campbell’s Tomato Soup. If we lived in the area, we would DEFINITELY make a return visit. The owner was very friendly, very helpful with food allergies, and I’m sure there is a real treasure trove of delicious things on his menu.“

“Came here for lunch today. This place is right by my house and I had not tried it yet. Immediately, I noticed that the service was fantastic. My waiter was very friendly and went above and beyond to give good service. I got the lunch special, it was only $15 for three rolls and an appetizer. My food was great too. I will be back.“
