Another diamond in rough y'all. This place definitely turned my head. It says it's Portuguese cuisine influenced by African cuisine. I bought halal chicken over a bed of yellow rice with spicy sauce. It came with corn with paprika sprinkled on top. I bought a hot cup of adeni chai; it's really good. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone that reads this. I will be back to try it again.

We had The Port of Peri Peri cater both my birthday and my wife’s 30th birthday, and I genuinely can’t say enough good things about them. The food was unbelievably flavorful — the kind of flavor that tells you someone put real love, pride, and care into every single dish. You can taste it immediately.

The owner is one of the nicest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. He truly takes care of his customers, checks in to make sure everything is perfect, and you can feel the passion he puts into his cooking. It honestly elevates the entire experience.

Now the food… wow.
The lamb chops? To die for. Perfectly seasoned, tender, juicy — honestly some of the best we’ve ever had.
The falafel sandwich is fantastic — warm, crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor.
And the chicken? Absolutely banging. Perfect heat, perfect char, perfect everything.

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food. We’ll 100% be ordering from them again for future events. If you want incredible flavor, amazing service, and food that feels like it was made with heart — The Port of Peri Peri is it. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place when I went with my boyfriend! The food was beyond incredible as was the service. It's so nice when staff actually care about customer experience. The restaurant itself was clean and calm. We'll definitely be back!!

WOW WOW WOW I wish I would have taken a picture to go with this review because to say we had a feast is an understatement!!! And it was as delicious as it looked!!! The service was above average, offering us to sample a bunch of their sauces and giving us samples of the side dishes as well as it was our first time. NOW, let’s talk about the flavors!!! We tried 7 things and EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!!! Most certainly will be coming back for more!!!

This place is really good. Food is spicy, sauces are great, and it’s a nice open space to have a relaxed lunch. Good portions too. I’ve had a burrito and a chicken/rice bowl, both of which were satisfying. I will go back for sure.

Such a great place. Everything taste so good. Very flavorful, nice heat but not over bearing. Cassava fries were so good.
My advice is to eat slow and Savor the many different flavors.
Definitely a place we will come to.
