“I had previously had some poor experiences regarding El Maguey's service (I couldn't find someone to give me the check or help me check out), but my visiting family talked me into going back. I am quite happy they did so, as our visit was amazing.On our approach to the restaurant we could smell grilled meat, which was delicious and a powerful enough scent to crowd out anything else. Upon entering, a friendly, husky young man greeted us and immediately made sure we were seated. He and all the rest of the staff were quite pleasant all around, and pretty attentive.The food has always been good, and this time around, it was amazing. I ordered the chicken fajitas, and they came out with that big sizzling skillet. Curls of steam wafted off, already hinting that this was gonna be an amazing meal. The food was seared to perfection, with a great mix of grill char and well seasoned chicken. It was truly the best fajita I ever experienced.Both my parents were with me, and they both thoroughly enjoyed their food (a grilled chicken chimichunga and the enchilada special). Our server was quite prompt at getting to us, and everything went really well on the whole.Even the restaurant's pleasant to sit in, incredibly clean with an inviting atmosphere. It lends itself more to night dining, but it still went really well for us on the whole. Hearty recommend, and I'll certainly be going back!“

“A solid place for Mexican food in Maryville. Stopped in while in the area on business of a 5 star review on Yelp. It had only been reviewed once, so I knew it wasn't a sure thing, but I was pleasantly surprised. I can't give them 5 stars, but only because their chips were a little stale, and the regular salsa tasted like over-oregano'd marinara sauce. Ask for some of the spicy salsa they keep in the back, instead. Everything else was really good, though. I had the Pollo con Queso, which is just chicken topped with queso dip, with side of rice and beans. Everything was really good, and the service was friendly. Easily 5 stars if they can boost their salsa game.“

“This is a wonderful little spot to stop in and enjoy delicious food.The above was my first review of this restaurant a little after they opened their doors. After these many years the original review still holds true. This is one of the top two Mexican restaurants we have in town. When I want something quick, easy, filling and delicious for a reasonable price ... I go here. They really put love into their food. It reminds me of stopping by a dear friends house, always a hello, a smile, and a warm inviting welcome. Hands down the best place for customer service. The most comforting food. This restaurant feels like someplace right out of the city. A gem amongst the restaurants in town.Vegetarian options: Every entree can be made with rice and beans or grilled veggies.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating with food sensitivities. Gluten free options. Soy free options. Nut free options. Vegetarian options.“

“Food was made fresh, served hot, and was done very quickly! The service was met with a smile and a wonderful attitude as well, which is much more happiness than I could've offered someone at 10am We will definitely be going back! Great food, wonderful service, and I don't remember the name of the young man working the window, but he was very personable and greeted us with a smile and wished us well when we were on our way! 10/10“

“I don't know what I'm doing rating a fast food taco joint five stars but I've never really had a bad experience at this Taco Bell. It's kind of bothersome being right after the stoplight trying to get parking and leaving. Usually they'll ask me when I dine in what my name is and I'll give them a random one that I think is funny just for enjoyment when I get a table with my friends. Haven't had a bad customer experience here. Had my order messed up another day and got a $5 gift card refund without even having the receipt and an extra taco. This has been a while ago but the guy had no grief with me telling him about it. Really seamless to get a refund for that. Much better than the Taco Bell in Red oak.“
