“I love this place. They have the best tamale. I do not eat out much, but when I do, I love getting number 24 and a tamale. There are more than this one location, and I first ate ate the ones in Lanexa Kansas. Still, while they are all good. I can not figure out why the taste of Saint Joseph's is best. I've been thinking that even lunch today should include a tamale. Thanks, magnifico!Vegetarian options: Just ask for no meat.Parking: Open space parkingKid-friendliness: Sure, nothing to hinder kids. It's a take out or drive up service, no tables to eat at.Wheelchair accessibility: Big open doors and ramp, but please, it's easier to just order from the car window at the drive up.“
“Absolutely AMAZING !! i was kind of skeptical at first usually Mexican restaurants in missouri is a hit or a miss. Let me tell you THIS WAS A GRAND SLAM! I bought the gorditas tastes just like my mom used to make them! Definitely recommend !!“
“I never would have expected Mexican food that was so authentic in St. Joseph, MO! Being born and raised in Southern California, I tend to have high standards for Mexican food. The food was amazing! The owners were welcoming and very polite. It was a great meal, great atmosphere and a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back.Thank you for a great lunch“
“When I arrived an elderly man had fallen in the parking lot and the Fire department was there helping him. He had busted the back of his head open. When they asked him if he wanted to go to the hospital, he said he wanted to go inside and eat ?... THAT is how good Barbosa's food is!!!My Taco's were AMAZING ?I just HAD to share that crazy story ?“
“The food quality here is good, expect more Tex-Mex rather than straight authentic. Portions sizes are fair for the price. The chips and salsa are fantastic. If you're looking for the most bang for your buck, it's going to be the fajitas, but some of their special entrees are hidden gyms.Vegetarian options: Entire section of vegetarian options. Nothing entirely vegan.Parking: At various times during the day this lot is full, and all the time the lot is difficult to navigate. Just watch your mirrors and make sure you don't run anyone over.Kid-friendliness: Good kid's menu, but the portion sizes are really only geared towards smaller children.“
“Coming to Taco Johns on taco Tuesday is a win for me!! Crispy tacos ? $1.19 for the win. They also had taco bucks. I gave them $5 and got $10 in coupons. So I go $18 worth of food, for $11.43! This is an awesome way to fight Bidenflation and Bidenomics. The food was hot, fast and delicious! The place was clean and decorated for Halloween! The people were pleasant and efficient. The ONLY problem is that we do not have these in St. Louis!!!“
“The wait staff was wonderful. When it comes to some seasonings it is really toned down. However the meat was still lovely. Atmosphere was good to a degree mainly because of the fountain in the center attracts every child who has no parental management was the only problem.Parking: Be mindful on the south/west side of the building. Might be a tight squeeze“
“out of the three locations this is hands down the best one. always clean, quick service and decently priced.Eddy is the best server you could ask for - he’s nice, attentive and makes the environment feel so welcoming and is the reason for my 5 star review! he gave me the cheese dip for free for my birthday because I don’t like the given dessert (which there’s nothing wrong with i’m just picky lol)“
“Firstly the staff on duty was doing a great job. They were extremely busy and extremely under staffed and were still pushing through making quick work of the orders being placed at the drive thru and counter. So great job there. I have worked on restaurants and that is not an easy job so kudos. One other thing, not sure who the young kid was who was supposed to be working the counter..Apparently 2 hours late from what i had overheard while I was waiting to get my food. Don't remember his name, but step your game up man. Either take some pride in working even if its not your dream job. Work ethic says a lot about someone regardless of the job they chose to do or doing out of necessity, just saying. Everyone else there thank you, you all did amazing“
“Clean and quick, definitely the cleanest Taco Johns in St. Joe. GM was taking orders and serving food when we were there. She was so upbeat. It's nice to see people actually enjoy their jobs.Ps. Their tacos are gluten free!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“We thought we’d try the new owners of taco Bandito, and it was great. The girl With the red hair at the front counter was sweet and friendly. The food was great. We had a little bit of everything to try it. The chicken tenders are the bomb. The breading is so good I could just eat the breading the mozzarella cheese sticks were the bomb. They weren’t like the bagged cheese sticks you get everywhere else they were really good and I had a bean tostada. Yum Yum Yum.“
“Great margaritas, ceviche, tacos, and the fish! Rosa is a fantastic chef! Always great service. It's a lovely place to go and enjoy the best Mexican food in town. Small, intimate place. Where are you can enjoy the food and conversations.“
