“We were on a family road trip and looking for a place to stop that wasn't too far off the route. This place had good reviews, so we thought we would give it a try and I'm so glad we did! The server was super nice and this was the best mexican food I've had in a very long time!! I often struggle to eat out because at most places the food is too salty and burns my mouth. The food here was tasty and flavorful but not overly salted. We ordered the chunky guacamole as an appetizer, which was basically freshly chopped avocado and pico de gallo mixed together. It also came with a fresh lime to add if desired. It was amazing!! ✨️🙌🏻 I wish we lived closer, so I could eat there regularly.”

“Words cannot express how great the food is at Sandy Ridge. The brisket falls apart and has great flavor. My wife had chicken and it was equally delicious. The staff and chef are very friendly as well as the owners. We will definitely be making the 2 hour drive back there to eat again.”

“We went used the drive thru. Person on other end was very polite and when we got to the window, we were greeted with smile and a thank you. We ordered the pork steak dinner and the pork steak is huge. Can't eat it all in one sitting. Got 3 meals from it and it was excellent and an excellent flavor. I love Dexter BBQ. Second time we have been. Great place to eat and you don't leave hungry.”

Food was great, chicken was golden brown and not over battered...mashed potatoes and gravy was right out of someone's grandma's kitchen...They gave me a sampling of the chicken gizzards and livers...which they boil before frying and I am telling you buttery soft...and the special jalapeno sauce was off the chain!...Staff so friendly this is a must stop for us.”

“We had a fantastic experience tonight and our server, Kenzie, was absolutely top-notch. She was really fast and attentive, got our food and drinks out quickly, and made sure everything was just right. She had a great attitude and was really pleasant to interact with. Plus, she smelled great. We were thrilled that she helped us signed up for Blazin! She also explained how the app works, and also the point system which we thought was really helpful for the future! WHEN I CALLED TO PLACE MY ORDER THE PERSON THAT ANSWERED HAD PHONE ETIQUETTE. They clearly knew how to speak to people as they are representing a business. 10/10 I do recommend.”
