Meg's Smashburgers and Frozen Custard

First strike was getting my order wrong a while ago. Second strike was having to wait four fourty five minutes in the drive through line for cold food. Third strike is showing up to order food and the place is closed WAY early. Hours say open until 9 PM, was closed at 4:39 PM. This place does not value customers. Won't be back.

Very good burger! Went in and was a bit nervous because there was no other customers around 1pm. Double smash burger with bacon was huge, almost more than I could eat, and cheese fries were great as well! Friendly service, and food was very fast and fresh!

One of the best smash burgers I've had!! Stopped here while on a road trip and I got a bacon and cheese double smash and it was delicious!! The cheese fries were soo good and if you like onion rings....GET THEM HERE!!! They're big and amazingly good!! Great stop off Route 44!!

First things first, the drive thru menu in complete shambles, that's a basic maintenance issue, then you see the prices,and with those prices you would think that could fix the basic maintenance issues! Then there was the picture of the food... Not impressed ?. If I could have given a half star I would have! Won't be visiting again!!

It's a little bit like a hole in the wall type of place but the food is decent. I really enjoyed my patty melt and the onion rings were super crispy with nicely seasoned breading. The rest of my crew liked their burgers and fries but told me they weren't anything extra special. Facilities were in need of a little repair and upkeep such as paint on the wall where something used to be mounted. The bathroom wasn't incredibly clean but as someone traveling through the area it definitely was not the worst I've experienced. I would come here again!

The food is a five. The service is a three. Burgers are great. Custard Sundaes and Concretes are great. Fries could have been cooked a bit longer but tasted good. The service while friendly, could be better. Young girls were nice, but we waited for our order for 20+ minutes and had to ask where it was. They lost the ticket. Only 2 parties of two in the restaurant. If they can get that lined out this could turn out to be really good. They did reduce the price of our custard desert, so thank you to them on trying.

Wow....I'm extremely disappointed in the overall cleanliness of this restaurant I don't know if they used to be in a different location but this was in the old dairy queen building in marionville. Absolutely disgusting inside. Floors were covered in dirt, the counter tops and walls were filthy and the front area where they take your order was dirty and messy as well. I could only imagine how the kitchen in the back looks. The food took over a half hour and they weren't even that busy. The fries were cold and the burgers had so much mustard on them (which we did not know came on them) you could barely eat them and that was after scraping it off. Nothing spectacular about the food and I pretty much lost my appetite looking at the dirty tables and lobby while the massive amount of flies were buzzing around the table. I'll never be back. The owners should be absolutely embarrassed to have opened their doors to the public. The health department needs to do an inspection. I'm sure they would be shut down.

I have had your cheese fries multiple times, loved them until today. I noticed that you have “cheese fries” & “spicy cheese fries” what’s the difference? When I called I was told “it’s the same cheese that we’ve always had” it’s not because my mouth is literally on fire. Not everyone likes spicy cheese, maybe let it be known that it is.

I’m not very picky when it comes to burger joints, especially locally owned businesses. I stopped by with my mother after a track meet to grab a quick bite. The food took 10 minutes to come out which was fine for a drive through but I was unimpressed with the quality of the food. The double cheeseburger was decent, but was served with no condiments other than onions and pickles. The fries were cold and tasted pretty bland, I assume they were sitting there for a while before served. Because I ordered a combo my food should have came with a drink which was not served to me along with the honey mustard I asked for as well. My mother ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and said it didn’t even taste like food. It was drowned in their Buffalo sauce and she quotes “undesirable” even when hungry. Besides the melty ice cream that we got which was tasty, we had no napkins in our bag in which we were forced to bathe in the sticky residue of the creamy treat. You may ask why we didn’t look in our bag and ask for these things and it is quite possible we could have asked for our drink, honey mustard, napkins, and warm fries but we were simply in a rush to get home as well as the accommodations of the annoyed looking drive thru worker in which I maintained a pleasant attitude with. In my opinion not the best experience but could have varied results depending on when you go and who is working. Will not be returning simply because there are better places to eat.

Seems like this place is about done for. All the tables a mess no one inside, waited 5 mins before I poked my head around to get service. Ordered BBQ burger, no BBQ sauce at all on the burger, fries tasted like they were left over from lunch it was 2pm. Super stale and tasted like they were microwaved to reheat. Couldn't even eat them. Asked for BBQ and was told they were out... well why did you let me order the BBQ burger? So I was charged a $1 for something the knew they didn't have? Yea well never again. Will see what opens in it's place, hopefully soon....

Way better than expected. Hand breaded fresh chicken strips. The breading was amazing. The hamburger was even approved by my dad and he is picky. May ask for light on the mustard next time. He loved the chicken strips as much as I did and for as much food as we got and the quality of it, the price was not bad.

Very good food for the price. Much better than your average fast-food restaurant. The food was very fresh, well priced, and delicious. Would highly recommend to those in the area.

Best burger ever! The custard was amazing! The staff is friendly and really helpful!! Great place to end the day.
