My daughter had insisted that I tried this restaurant. I got the biscuits and gravy today. The biscuits for me were hard. I’m not for sure they were fresh or not. I got the biscuits and gravy around 10:30 AM the caramelized onions that they put on top of it Are good. Very bold flavor. I wouldn’t say it’s good or bad. Very inquired taste. Would I return probably not

I’m not a huge fan of biscuits but I still wanted to try this place out. They have a dish called the DB Mac… everyone needs to get it! Holy cow it’s delicious. That bacon jam they put on top is crazy tasty. The DB Hash is also yummy but I like the Mac better. I wish they had a different sauce option for the Mac and Cheese balls but the hot honey was still good with them

Why is it 3.50 to get fries instead of hashcoins?? Weird
Wow ...my wife and I hit a new breakfast place every other Sunday. We have our regular and then we try new every other weekend. Walked in this Sunday to this place at 810am and by 815am we were back in our vehicle. We walked in and heard someone speaking, walked up to order counter and were looking at the menu above. Not one person came to the front counter while we were deciding what to order. We looked at each other and decided this business didn't need our hard earned money today. We walked out and watched the staff just stand in the back still enthralled in conversation more important than waiting on potential new customers.
Edit: Thank you for responding to our review. We are appreciative to hear your response and I hope it ends up being a net positive and your Sunday business jumps. I have 30+ in managing people and stores and I know it can be a battle everyday. Thank you for striving to improve your service. We will try again in a few Sundays.

Really enjoy eating here whenever I get a chance. The fried chicken tenders rival any other place in town and the biscuits are so light, fluffy, and flavorful, you’ll be hooked on the first visit.

I’d rate this place SIX stars if I could! I’m from southern Overland Park, so this place was quite out-of-the-way, but I saw it when I was on the area last month and looked it up online. The algorithm picked it up and soon I saw ads for the “Biskuits” and thought I’d make the trip to try it out. I got “The Wonder” w hash browns. I also ordered one plain biskuit as I understand that’s how this place got started. The biskuit was airy and savory, but also dense and hearty. The bottom crust of the biskuit was a treat in itself as it was perfectly crispy, not burned over overcooked. The biskuit itself was very good even plain, not too dry or bland. Adding honey butter and jam really took it it to the next level though. The has browns were all evenly cooked and salted just right. Very crispy out side with soft potato inside. And then we have The Wonder. I cannot express how well-seasoned and cooked the chicken was. Absolutely delicious. The egg was cooked exactly right, with a bit runny yolk, but not so runny that it was a mess. The beef bacon was excellent and $13 may seem steep for a breakfast sandwich with hash browns, but I eat a lot but skipped lunch after eating this monster. Great proportions for the price! I’m am just in awe of this place and already craving the biskuits again. Next time I’m up that way, I’ll have to try the Biskuits and gravy!!! This is one place that was well worth the trip!

Whoa! That is not a reaction you get from me very often, but whoa.
I got the “Crown”. I WILL be driving back to KC to get this again. When you look at it, it should not work but OMG it really works. The bun is a biscuit. Buttery, flaky, soft…but it held up to all of the topping with no issues. I was able to drive and eat this.
That is huge to me, because I’m on the go a lot. My family got chicken dishes and that especially loved the spicy chicken offerings. I ate so fast, I forgot to take pictures to post. It was THAT GOOD.
I’m looking forward to getting back to KC.

Absolutely delicious! Big fluffy biscuits, perfectly seasoned and juicy chicken, perfect bacon (I like mine crispy!) and lots of hot tots on the side. Thanks to the team member who took our order for the recommendation (The Wonder). We gotta go back for sure. (Love that they sell Mean Mule, locally distilled agave spirits!)
