This has become mine and my husband’s favorite vegan spot in the Kansas City area. Not only is the food delicious, but it must be said that this place is CONSISTENT in terms of quality. That can be a rare find in a niche restaurant. My go-to dish is the Gateway Nachos, my husband gets the BBQ Jackpot Sandwich. If you’re vegan and/or gluten-free, definitely check it out!

My daughters and I passed through KC from Lincoln, NE, on our way back home from a tournament. The detour for lunch at Kind Food was well worth the time. Delicious and beautifully presented. Best vegan burger with "bacon" EVER! We found this spot in the Iron District on a previous KC trip; the new location is bright and cheerful. Thanks!

Let me preface by saying I am not vegan or vegetarian but this food was so amazing! I got the mushroom bacon burger and it was so good!!! ☺️?Omg. The way they stacked the burger ?looked like it way out of a food ad. Picture perfect. ?The inside is also super cute. Love the vibe too. Plenty of seating and cute couches. Although they say don’t eat food there lol. But there’s also merch and an amazing mural!

One of our favorite stops for an easy date night! We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried there. Also, my husband has food allergies and it’s so nice to go somewhere where we don’t have to worry about how the food is being prepared. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is clean. I had a burger, baked beans, u0026 the red kombucha (I think it was cherry-vanilla) It was deliciously satisfying and the kombucha reminded me of a light soda pop. •My favorite part was the ambiance because there are plants and art all around the space u0026 it gives it a nice earthy feel.

This simple, no nonsense, eloquently executed restaurant is a perfect new addition to the Rosedale community! The food is fantastic, the presentation is delightful, and the prices are very reasonable. They are very earth friendly, animal friendly...human friendly. Give this place a shot, meat eater or not, you will not be disappointed!
