Visited on a weeknight and got to hear Nick Nave, which he did a wonderful job. The vibe at Sail Away was laid back and the concept of self service wine is a unique idea to me anyway. It was easy to figure out after a short tutorial from the friendly waitstaff. The nice think about this concept is that you get to try a wide variety of wines, from relatively low cost to expensive without having to splurge.

Love visiting Sail Away. It is a fun experience to get to try various of types of wine without committing to a whole glass not knowing if you will like it. It is a little on the pricey side, so only somewhere I would visit on occasion. There was some confusion with the waitress during my last visit in which I misunderstood her explanation that the food items could not be put on different ticket once they had been ordered and she was pretty rude during the checkout process, but it was an isolated incident. Overall would recommend for the delicious food and wine sampling experience!

One of my favorite places in NKC! I love the self serve option but their food menu is the best part. I haven't had a single thing I don't like. Definitely recommend any of the flatbreads or charcuterie plates, but my go to is the spinach dip and bruschetta! The staff is always wonderful and the ambience suits any need. I've sat at the bar to finish work while enjoying a glass, gone here for date night, met with friends or even a Saturday afternoon hanging with mom. It meets every need!

Great place for date night, came in tonight and there was live music I wasn’t expecting but was definitely happy about. My date was super happy with the self serve wine, our food was soo good. Our server Lanie was super sweet and made sure we were taken care of even though she was clearly slammed. Seemed like on a night that busy she shouldn’t have been the only server on the floor. I only gave 4 instead of 5 stars because i think someone should have been there to help her but I want to make it clear she was killing it I’m not complaining about her service! It’s just hard to be three places at once. Lol. Overall awesome place and I will definitely be back, maybe for lunch she said they’ve got a bigger menu I’m excited to try.

Delicious flatbread and dips Monday night was a great night to eat there.Buy one flatbread get one! I also loved the variety of wines and that it was self- serve wine. So you could taste by just purchasing an ounce or buy by the glass. My first visit. Will go back soon.
