Scott and team were so great to work with for our wedding. The food was incredible and we got so many compliments!

I have used Diane and Scott's services a couple of times in the past and have been very impressed. This month I was asked to order food for a work event off site that I would not be attending. I was confident in the service that I have received in the past that they would deliver the best quality service and food. They did NOT disappoint. The feedback received was amazing. From the service to the presentation to the Amazing food as it was said! Everything was on Point!! Thank you for making me look good. We will be seeing again in the near future.

They catered our wedding in September 2023 at White Iron Ridge and did an excellent job. Had great communication, reasonable prices, and high quality food. Everything went very smoothly day of the wedding. They were great about accommodating for dietary restrictions & kids meals as well. One year later our friends still rave about the mac and cheese!

We knew this was our wedding caterer day 1. The food is AMAZING and they were able to make our entire wedding gluten free! We had a great experience with them and many people commented that the food was delicious. Our flower girl ended up with a fever and sleeping on the couch upstairs in their prep area and everyone was fantastic about checking on her and even encouraged her adults to go back to the party and they would watch her. They were so sweet and totally above and beyond.

Food was our #1 priority when it came to planning our wedding. We had several tastings, but the one that stood out to us was Scrape The Plate. Scott and Diane were amazing to work with. It was obvious that they were very experienced and knew how to keep quality at scale. The staff was ultra friendly and professional and worked well with our venue to create a seamless experience for us and our guests.Thank you so much for the amazing food and the amazing day!!

100/10 !! When searching for caterers for our Nov 2023 wedding, we were recommended Scrape the Plate by some family friends. I had never heard of them before but I am so glad they recommended STP to us because they were amazing! We loved that before our tasting they had us fill out a questionnaire to get to know what our favorite foods were, what foods we wanted to avoid, etc. Their menus are very customizable and we loved that they incorporated foods we love into the menu options vs just giving us a standard menu with a few different options to choose from like the other caterers we met with did. The pricing was another big thing that stuck out to us when weighing our options for caterers. The other caterers we met with were going to be double the price for food that was not nearly as good as what Scott and his team presented to us. The food at our wedding was absolutely delicious and we received a ton of compliments from our guests on how good everything was. I'm still thinking about it weeks later! Their event staff was great and very professional. If you are looking for a caterer that will not disappoint, I cannot recommend Scrape the Plate enough!

Scrape the Plate is AMAZING! After our friend had a great experience with them catering her engagement party, we decided to reach out for a quote for our wedding. After the tasting, we decided to not get quotes from anyone else. The food was amazing, and more affordable than we anticipated. Scott helped us customize our menu and came up with fun ideas to help the food represent us better. A few weeks after our tasting, he packed up a to go box for us to try more items. Diane was beyond kind and so easy to work with. All of our guests raved about the food. I cannot recommend Scrape the Plate enough!!

Not only was the food amazing, the people we worked with were all phenomenal. We got so many compliments on the food and how it was so unique/tasty for a wedding.

We found Scrape the Plate catering through a local wedding coordinator in Kansas City. The coordinator promised a variety of excellent food at affordable prices and the team at Scrape the Plate did not disappoint. With the exception of the pork skewers (which came out a bit dry), everything we selected (Moroccan meatballs, cheese board and toast points, hummus and crudité, bruschetta, and quinoa salad) was amazing. Several of our guests told us afterward that they were especially impressed with the food. Scott really worked with us to come up with a variety of dishes that met all of our needs and dietary restrictions while still fitting with our Mediterranean theme. He also worked with us to adjust options in order to fit within our budget. We highly recommend working directly with Scrape the Plate, as we found it cumbersome and unnecessarily complicated communicating through our coordinator as we evaluated options and made decisions. The staff who worked our event were all excellent and the decision to add iced tea and water carafes was a good one, especially during a heat wave (though we recommend ensuring you have a plan for serving water after the catering team leaves, as they take all of their setup with them, including water carafes—this may also have been an oversight by our coordinator). We were delighted when Scrape the Plate allowed us to use a cake stand, serving utensils and additional beverage service even for items they weren’t providing, and satisfied with the packaging of leftover food, including our cake. We went through a more affordable provider (Bright Star Events) for linens, but imagine Scrape the Plate provides great service in this area as well.(Photo credit: Whitney C Photography / @whitcphoto)

My wedding was the best wedding food I’ve ever had, and it’s all thanks to Scrape the Plate. From the beginning, Scott and Diane were extremely well-organized. We did a virtual tasting with Scott where he walked us through several menu options. He asked a lot of questions to see what kind of food we liked and proposed a custom menu for us. Everything was delicious, and our guests raved about the food. I have heard horror stories of the bride and groom not being able to enjoy their meal, but Scrape the Plate pre-plated our food and had it ready for us as soon as we sat down so we didn’t have to go through the line. This was such a thoughtful touch that made a huge difference. They also pre-packaged to go boxes for us and donated any leftovers. Their staff was professional and prompt - they made sure we were doing alright multiple times throughout the night. I highly recommend Scrape the Plate for your wedding or event.

Professional, friendly, and most importantly, great food! I've received multiple, sincere, compliments from our wedding guests on our food. Scott and Diane were easy to work with, gave us great menu ideas, and were accommodating when we needed to pick up linens ahead of originally planned. I would recommend Scrape the Plate to anyone.
