New China in Ofallon, Mo was very good. Was it the same as others? No. I usually go to #1 but New China is now on top. Don’t downplay these businesses. McDonald and BK and Wendy’s all have hamburgers but differences in every which way. Bottom line.., New China was very good! Thank you for the delicious food, the service and the smile and friendliness when I picked up my order.
My favorite Chinese store is closed on Tuesdays so being hungry for chicken lo mein I tried New China. Disappointed. The noodles were so overcooked and gummy. They use thin noodles, whereas my normal place uses linguini size and they stay firm. The pork roll was basically empty and chewy, not crispy, no flavor. The crab Rangoon wasn't bad but not quite as good as my normal place. Prices were okay, service was timely. Next time I'll wait a day and go to my regular place.
Second time getting food here. The only complaint is the egg rolls. Last time they were not good, I figured it was a one off. This time even worse. Pork egg roll had nothing in it and it was way undercooked. Crispy on the outside mushy nothing on the inside.
