In our town we call The Hootin Chicken, The Chicken. I enjoy the atmosphere and the fact that you are likely to see someone you know. The food is excellent, staff is friendly and the cooks are good at their job. Stop by "The Chicken" and enjoy.Parking: On a busy day or evening the cars are usually parked on both sides of the street. There is parking on the side streets.
The Hootin' Chicken is a really nice restaurant! Very clean and our waitress was great. I was happy to see a salad bar with a bunch of different options and my loaded baked potato was awesome. My husband really enjoyed his steak. We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Salad bar. Baked potatoes.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu.Parking: Street parking, so could be hard to find parking at certain times of the day.

The pork chop was amazing and very affordable priced. $12 for a thick juicy bone in pork chop, baked potato, and salad. The young lady who waited on us was friendly and attentive. I strongly recommend it.
