“I’ve been on a search for consistently good sushi in the northland and this is easily the best place I’ve been! Great prices, the specialty rolls come with 8-12 pieces and great service. My husband got the steak teriyaki and it was very tender and delicious. This will be the spot we keep coming back to for sure!“

“One of my favorite sushi spots! The location is convenient, the staff are always friendly, and the food is wonderful! I live very nearby, so being able to walk to a nice restaurant without needing a vehicle is very nice. They also offer very reasonable and affordable prices on their menu, as well as some more expensive items for a bit more luxury if you so desire!

They have a lot of good options, and I never worry about the freshness of their fish. Although, my favorites are the Hokkaido roll and the Kyoto roll, usually with a small bottle of their green apple or white peach sake.

The atmosphere is lovely with their easy seating, colorful banners, and art decor. And they have a wonderful service as well.

This last time tonight when my girlfriend and I ordered, they also gave us an extra bottle of sake on the house! I was very touched by this.

Overall, I will continue to be a customer to this lovely little sushi spot! It's not in the biggest area, but please give it the love it deserves!“

“I had the akoya omakase and it was truly exceptional. Fish was fresh and tasty and the flavor combinations were so creative and well-balanced. The chef was very attentive and explained every ingredient for me (which I appreciate). Friendly service from the team and just overall good vibes! :) Honestly I’m not used to spending this much money on a single meal but I’ll say this is well worth it. If you are ever considering coming here, just do yourself a favor and pay a visit to this place! I’m a bit sad that I’m just visiting Kansas City; I wish I can come here everyday.

“What a great discovery! This is real Japanese food that is not sushi. It has that authentic Tokyo vibe and it is 100% delicious. I can't wait to return and try more of the food. “Kenny, our server was so awesome. He honestly made the experience along with the other teammates as well who brought out our food! When I walked in, even the host knew who I was with already, which made me feel very warm!!! I'm so glad I had my birthday experience here and I would recommend others going as well. The crab apple sushi roll was so good and I loved the sake cocktail along with the margarita cocktail. “Very good Bento Box. Like honestly I was very impressed by the food. It smelled a bit fishy in there, but of course it is a sushi place. Oh and that little candy thing they give at the end of the meal that's no bigger than a pill is my new favorite hard candy and the entire trip is worth it just for that tiny little piece of heaven.“

“Drinks where great! I ordered a samurai and was very pleased with it. I'm not much the drinker however. What I am, is a enjoyer of shrimp. I ordered the Tokyo special that came with steak chicken and shrimp with fried rice and had a blast with it! The flavor was excellent! Can't wait to go back and have it again!“
