“I had ordered 7 dozen cronut holes and went to pick them up, 30 minute drive and I didn’t get my whole order and when I called I spoke with Angie and she was very apologetic and offered to remake my whole order. Long story short, not only does this place have the best donuts in town, but they have great customer service! Compliments to Angie, she’s a gem!!“
“Best doughnut place in the KCK/KCMO area!This is sort of an old-fashioned doughnut shop in that it offers pretty much all of the traditional types: Apple fritters, old fashioned/cake, maple bars, and all kinds of filled things. We get the impression that these folks just want to turn out good doughnuts. They always seem to be fresh. I sometimes order a Boston Cream type where the filling tastes very “canned” at some places. Not sure if the filling here is canned or homemade here, but I find it quite good.I really think that this place shines in two areas. A good selection, and then good tasting doughnuts. The doughnuts themselves are excellent, not just a base for a sugary topping. We find that doughnut shops often simply rely on sugar. Not so here! Lot’s of flavor both in the doughnuts themselves as well as the toppings. Sweet, but not sickenly so.The service has invariably been excellent. Very pleasant and quick with the orders. Our go-to place for doughnuts.And, as this is a family owned, “hands-on” business, I don’t mind in the least that they take time off for whatever during the year. These are doughnuts, not heart surgery, and the amazing food and service negate the lack of “corporate” characteristics, such as 325 day-a-year hours. TRY IT. YOU’LL LIKE IT!“
“Visited at 8:30 am on a Tuesday and most donuts were sold out already. All the specials for the month were gone. I ended up with a cinnamon bun which when I heated at home was soft and delicious. Overall good but I was very surprised by the lack of options for a random weekday morning.“
“Get there early, sells out quick most days. Clean, comfy, indoor seating as well as drive thru. Coffee and flavors available. Specialty doughnuts are twists, long johns, pine cones, filled bismarcks, regular cinnamon rolls and huge iced cinnamon rolls. Some breakfast items too. Enjoy!“
“We love our little neighborhood donut shop! Good products, fair prices, and nice people. It's not a franchise, so it doesn't have a slick interior design or booths. Heck, that's part of the charm. They've been part of many a sweet weekend in our house.“
