“I truly do not care for Doughnuts. However... Fluffy Fresh is in a category of its own. There is not one trip I take to the KC metro where I don't pay my respects once. Round Rock Doughnuts in Austin TX may literally be the only place I could put up against Fluffy.

The owner makes these doughnuts BY HAND daily. You have to get there at 5:30AM, and usually by 7AM, hes done for the day and sold out. This is truly a Small-Batch product. And All you need to know is that the Glazed and Cinnamon Twist are all you need to know.

If you are blessed to have them hot out of the fryer, you will experience a level of food nirvana that lacks words to describe. In a world where Social Media leaves nothing un-discovered, I am forever floored that this place continues to fly under the radar.

“I had not had a Mr. D's donut in almost 10 years because I used to find them to be WAY too greasy and not very good. Was craving a donut at the OP Farmers Market and decided to give them another shot. I'm not sure what changed but they were amazing. One of the best Apple Fritters I have ever had. It had huge chunks of apple in it, which is a rarity in fritters anymore, and had the perfect level of crispy edges with a soft chewy inside. My wife loved her chocolate long john. She said it was tender and chewy with a nice light coating of chocolate that didn't overwhelm the tastebuds. It definitely won't be 10 years before we return this time. Might be our new favorite donut shop. The dogs loved their donut holes, too. 😁“

“Arrived on a weekend shortly before closing (I know food places love that). I could see the whole counter but there were no donuts. The woman working said they had sold out and were closed. My life flashed before my eyes and I started to tear up. The woman, confused and vaguely afraid, produced a white box from somewhere, indicating it was all she had left. A whole family was approaching, so I said I'd buy them all, sight unseen. Just then the family came in; it was a couple with their beautiful grandchildren, ready to make sweet memories. I got to say "they're closed" and I'm not even the littlest bit sorry. I opened the box in my truck and found half a dozen perfect donuts. I contemplated about my missing husband and grandchildren and began feeding to self soothe. Possibly not the healthiest coping method but definitely the most delicious. This was a victory for singles everywhere, plus I found a fave donut shop. In the words of Michael Scott: it was a win-win-win.“

“LOVED my experience today! I searched Google for donut places en route to my mom's for Christmas breakfast. I wanted 18 assorted donuts and each of 3 cinnamon rolls. I was nervous because many cars were outside. But I waited only 2 minutes before a young lady greeted me. She perfectly filled the box, quickly moving to certain areas or types as I recommended. It was smooth. I was impressed with how everyone in the back was collaborating while at last 3 staff members were filling boxes/ringing people up at the front. When the boxes were filled, the same person who filled my boxes rang me up at a machine literally one step from where she filled the boxes. I paid less than $2 per donut, which is rare these days for this variety of legit donuts. I really, REALLY appreciated that the person who greeted me, took my order, filled my boxes, and rang me up was the same person. As I left, she told me to have a blessed day. That location was such a well-oiled machine that I got to Mom's house 4 minutes earlier than planned.

They say that good service is a thing of the past. If that's true, then I was transported back in time today when I went to Donut King on Armour Blvd in Kansas City. 10/10 Recommend“

“I stopped by earlier in the week to get some ice cream, delicious BTW, and noticed they had breakfast food. Ihad to come back by and try, and I am soglad I did! Ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich and a 1/2 B&G. The sausage was NOT a preformed pattie, eggs scrambled to perfection and folded over cheese, spring mix, and, I can only guess, an aioli spread. It was a great breakfast sandwich. The gravy was meaty with a nice consistency. We'll be back to try more items soon! I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

“We ordered 4 donuts. All of them exceeded expectations. They were warm, fluffy, and sweet. We also ordered coffee. My son accidentally spilled the entire cold brew, and the employee (I think she was the manager) replaced it without question. Customer service was great, and we enjoyed watching them put toppings on the donuts while we waited.
