He ordered The Society Hefeweizen and loved its smooth, classic flavor, while I went for the Saints Delight — a lavender and hibiscus Berliner Weisse that was crisp, floral, and refreshingly tart without being too sour. We couldn’t resist the dessert pretzel sticks, and they were the perfect sweet-and-salty snack. The vibe here is fantastic — a welcoming patio with outdoor games, plus walls filled with KC history through old downtown photos. The bartender gave us great beer recommendations, and the owner (who was on-site) made us feel right at home. This place is full of charm, flavor, and friendly faces — we’ll absolutely be back!“
