Good sandwich
Just dropped in on a deli that I happened to see. My end of the zip code is a food desert, so I go looking for new spots. Today I found a great little deli in Raytown, Mo. A wonderful choice of meats, cheeses and breads.
I highly recommend this wonderful little place that is not fast food. Sandwich was doubled wrap. A roast beef sandwich on an onion bun with cheese, veggies, chips and drink have to roughly 20.00.

The LOCAL Deli in Raytown, Mo. is a great little deli with a wonderful choice of meats, cheeses and breads. It is not fast food. The Local Turkey is loved, simple to the point, and the smoked uptown chicken salad is delicious. A roast beef sandwich on an onion bun with cheese, veggies, chips and drink came to roughly 20.00, and a roast beef and turkey provolone with all the fixings surprised with the variety. The Turkey Bun is big in size and tastes good. The Midtown Ham on an onion bun with added mayo has shaved ham that was shaved thin and had a good taste to it, and the mayo added a nice creaminess. The Italian District sandwich looks like a good old-fashioned Italian deli sandwich. The menu is great with competitive prices, and there is a soup option for the fall days. The staff is so nice and helpful, and a loyalty card is given right off the bat. The store is very clean inside, at the south end of the Raytown Plaza. It is a must try for anyone living in Raytown, just driving through or making a special trip for a great deli sandwich.
