“Second time here and was as good if not better than before. Their location has moved in the past year but it's not much further than it was before. We highly recommend the loaded hash browns. Their portions are big so if you aren't starving you could easily share. The service is always top notch too! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED“

“We had a reservation but waited until a table opened downstairs. There was live music which was fun but very loud for such a small area. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The wait staff seamed like they were spread thin. Took awhile for the waitress to come back for drinks.“

“The staff did a great job taking care of our group of 17 which included several with dietary restrictions and some otherwise picky eaters. I think we had everything on the menu and all of it was delicious including my much-needed Bloody Mary! The sunset view off the deck alone was worth the trip. Keep in mind, unless you valet park, the parking is remote and the shuttle ride takes some time. Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early.“

“I have eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and I keep going back! A lot of the food is made from scratch and they have large portions! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! It’s just a great place all around. If you haven’t eaten there yet, I highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed!“

“This place is the bomb for families, dates, friends, whoever loves to play games! It has a great little cafe with coffees, adult beverages, fun drinks for kids, as well as a nice selection of fun snacking options. There were two adults and two teens in our group and we had no trouble finding an endless selection of games to play. We will be back every time we are in Branson!“
“Great wine, great scenery and a great staff. It's always nice to be able to take in the wonderful views of the Ozarks with good company. You'd think the patio could get pretty messy out there, but everything is kept in great shape. Indoors and out! Will definitely be coming back when I'm back in the area.“

“My wife and I spent our 51st anniversary dinner with this wonderful restaurant. The food is amazing, the staff are wonderful, and the ambience is as good as it gets. “We stopped here over the summer based on Branson pizza recommendations and it immediately became our fave. The 5 cheese pizza was probably the best I have had. We stopped again on our Christmas trip and tried different kinds of pizza. All 4 we have tried so far have been good. The kids love the dress up area and the theme is unique. Staff are pleasant. We look forward to keeping Hook and Ladder as a must visit each trip.“

“We tried this place on a whim after rumors about our fav sushi spot handing out food poisoning left and right surfaced. We obviously didn’t want to take a chance and get it so we sought out to find a new spot and I’m SO glad that we did. Everyone was so friendly, it was a great atmosphere and the sushi was amazing! It was so fresh. We also tried some appetizers and house salads. This is definitely our new spot when we visit!“

“50s diner atmosphere. My family and I showed up 30 minutes before closing. Staff was amazing. Food was amazing. I had the double burger. This was a huge burger but so delicious. Highly recommend. My son had a salad and loved it. Did I mention the mill shakes? So thick I had to use a spoon.“

“Had their queso birria tacos combo with good old Mexican cola cola. The birria soup was tasty and wasn't too hot for people afraid of too much heat you can still get great flavor at tacos no 1. Salsa bar is at your disposal. Plenty of napkins for the messy eaters.“

“Cute little Cafe in downtown old branson with wonderful friendly serves with a smile 😊 Kathleen was our waitress and she was very prompt with keeping our drinks filled and always with a smile! They were very busy with brunch but we didn't have to wait on a table at all with a group of five. Our food came out fast and it was very delicious and fresh. We had a lot on our plate as well with all reasonably priced which we just loved that too☺️ my husband and I had veggie omelets with hadhbrowns. We didn't want a biscuits so we got a pancake instead with no additional cost. My grandson for a Ruben with okra and my other grandson got chicken with waffles. My daughter got homemade chicken salad sandwich with a delicious fresh coleslaw . We had enjoyed our meals and left full and happy!!!“

On vacation we had a group dinner here. Charlie was amazing getting us seats and making sure we're comfortable. We had two servers our table had Denise. She was great handling the table and split tickets. The guy looks like the manager seem to have a issue with me checking the section seeing if we had enough space before my huge party sat. Our other half had a different server who was not pleasant. Seemed like she had a issue doing her job. Overall the food and drinks were great. Thank you again to Charlie (Hostess) and Denise (Server).“

“Mr Gilberti’s came highly recommend and did not disappoint. We grabbed a late lunch, so there wasn’t a crowd, and the service was superb. The Italian food was similar to the cuisine served, in the old country. The prices seemed above average on the menu, but presentation, flavor, and quantity made it was well worth the experience. We will go back.“

“Staff at the landing is awful! Waited 15 minutes and had to ask the bussing staff if they could find a waitress to take our drink order! The waitress that showed up said she didn't know where our waiter was so she would take it, but then laughed very unprofessionally. She had just been skipping around with a friend, laughing, and nothing to, moments before! Been here several times over the years and it's just gone downhill with staying and professionalism! I'll take my business somewhere else! The pizza is good, but I prefer a better atmosphere and service! I tip well too, but not tonight!!!! The waitress prefers to flirt with the boys instead of working too!“

“Momo food is wonderful but, another reason we keep coming back for is the waiter we have had, Sharique. Sharique is one of the most kind and attentive servers a person can have. If a waiter deserves any recognition or a pay raise it would be him. Ask for Sharique and the "paradise platter!"“

“In the mood for Mexican, we chose Cantina Laredo for its location next to the river, with an excellent view from the patio. Food - not sure how “authentic” they are, but their food was served hot and tasty. I was impressed that they seemed to make their own chips and taco shells. Service - a lot of nice little touches too many to mention. Ambiance - just awesome. They get a 4 on Yelp, but I’d give them a 4.8“

“We love Cheddars. It is a corporate restaurant and our expectations are consistent with that model. Our meal was as expected with the following exceptions:
1. It is my fault for not checking the ticket prior to departure, but I was charged $7.29 for chips & queso dip after redeeming "free with code" coupon. LESSON: Thoroughly, check your bill.
2. Buffalo rollup: shell was dry and crusty after being seared on a griddle.
We will be back though this visit had a few negatives. The staff and waitress were outstanding!“

“We were in Branson June 1 - June 6 2025 . (From Nebraska) We absolutely love coming to Branson —- we came on June 1st which was our 34 th wedding anniversary , and Branson was our honeymoon destination 34 yrs ago . We absolutely love love love Branson and all the entertainment it offers and provides . We love all the restaurants in Branson for a selection of a wide variety of food . We have never at hero’s but chose to try it this time —- it did not disappoint what so ever we absolutely loved it the food was delicious so good it called us back for a 2nd time Within that week —- the first time we had their fried chicken —- which is always kinda a concern being away with not knowing if it’s going to be greasy or not as my husband has a touchy stomach with greasy food . We loved the fried chicken !!!!! Literally lived it non greasy and very tolerable and did not upset my husbands stomach —- it was again very impressive and delicious . Toward the end of our week we chose to go back to hero’s once again and we were once again very very pleased . The waitresses were so nice and so accommodating and it was just he best in atmosphere —- we would be extremely extremely sad if this place ever closed because it’s on our return list for our next return to Branson . Oh and did I mention the breaded corn it’s a hit it was so unique and so different and it was yummy!!! Thanks hero tastes and taps you have us as a return customer to hero’s . It’s highly recommended over and beyond in a 5 star!!!!“

“Very happy with food and service every time we've gone. BUT you need changing tables in your restrooms. I had to change my baby on the floor of the women's bathroom. I recommend installing a changing table in both the women's and men's restrooms because dad's change diapers too.“

“Heather was our waitress and she was amazing. The food, the atmosphere was warm, inviting and I honestly cannot remember a dinner the I enjoyed every bite. I had the special with the pork chop, hubby had the butternut squash ravioli. They started us off with a crostini with cream fresh pears and basil pecans, to die for. Then after dessert we had chocolate mint macarons. Highly recommend if you are staying at Big Cedar lodge or just visiting. Thank you Heather for taking your time with us and making it a special anniversary dinner.“
