I used to come here as a kid and I'm so happy to see the recipes have stayed the same, they've moved locations a few times but have stayed the same great company. Lovely little mom and pop shop right off the highway for a quick cool treat.
Great Ice Cream Parlor ? , the girl working there was very friendly and helpful. We were on our way home to Jefferson City from the State Park and say Rubys and stopped in. There were quite a few of us so we wanted to thank the hirl working there cause we couldn't decide which flavors we wanted, so Thank You !!! Very good ice cream !!! ????

They have lots of yummy flavors, including one with pop tarts pieces as the special. I picked a flavor that was a bit melted/re-frozen, so it had ice bits in it. I could have said something since we ate there, but didn't. The waffle cones are tasty. My biggest complaint is that they do not offer free cups of water (you must buy bottles). I almost always want water after eating ice cream, plus it was a hot day.
