They easily accommodated the 14 members of our fishing club at one table. The key though is getting there at about 5:15 or 5:30, as they are very popular with the locals and fill up fast. We were all ravaged after fishing all day and most of us had one of their steak options (I believe they said it was local steak). Steak dinners offered an abundance of food and the prices were outstanding. I believe the big ribeye was the most expensive at 30$ which included everything (salad, starch, bread, vegetables). We plan on going there next year when they have their night for entertainment!

Very friendly, beer was fast and very cold. Food was delicious and prepared very quickly. The staff was very nice. We are just moving to Salem and will be back often

Steak was perfectly cooked per request,juicy and tasty. Fried green tomatoes were the best I've had in a long time ( better than my mom's 45 yrs ago- don't tell her plz).
We also had someone with the Chicken Philly sandwich nice blend of peppers and flavors with the chicken, fries were good ( wish I had some seaon salt on the table for it) everyone at the table was happy we chose this spot.
Great service , hot fresh food, would definitely eat here again.

Well worth the wait. Jenny was amazing. The ribeye and smothered chicken was delicious. My daughter wouldn't leave until she finished her coleslaw

Food was very good. Salads came out quick and everything was fresh. Then the wings and mushrooms followed. Again, everything was delicious. My wife had a pasta dish with chicken and I had the blackened tuna. Right on point and very delicious.
Did I mention how good everything was? lol
Our server was quick and friendly.
The building is a little plain on the outside and it’s a gravel parking lot, but don’t let that stop you from visiting.

The food was pretty good. Was very disappointed with the spinach artichoke dip. It was made with cream cheese and is nothing like what you find in other restaurants. The Chicken carbonara had a great taste and I would get it again, but it could use more noodles. Salad with the house dressing was very good. The atmosphere was good and the wait staff was great. Hubby said he has had the chicken fettuccine there previously and that it was very good.

In town from Illinois and found this gem. The service was fantastic (thank you Patty) and the food was great. We will be back the next time we swing through :)

Last night we were in Salem for graduation and we stopped at JB Malone’s for dinner with friends. We waited over 2 hours and still had not gotten our food. We ask to speak with the manager. He came to the table laughing and asked “are you getting hungry”. We tried to explain that we had been waiting 2 hours for our food and that 2 tables that had come in after us had already gotten their food. He could not acknowledge that they had screwed up and kept telling us it had not been that long with an attitude nonetheless. I’ve heard the food is good but I don’t know I didn’t eat. If you have plenty of time and aren’t real hungry maybe give it a try.
