long wait and bad service
We are not from here and stopped in for breakfast on Sunday Morning and we had the best breakfast we've had in years. Like my Grandma used to make type of breakfast! The biscuits were the absolute best. Wednesday we came in for lunch and had yet another great lunch! I don't think there is anything on that menu that could disappoint. This lil Mom & Pop diner should be a must if you come this way! Great staff whom today got me 2 biscuits to bring back even though they no longer...read full review

The 61 Diner is a place that has served the community for many years. The food is the best, with meals like the hamburger, patty melt, and crispy fries being very good. The coconut pie is also a highlight. Service can be excellent and friendly; Meredith and Jammie provided phenomenal service, consistently checking in. However, some service experiences vary, as one server made a guest feel unwelcome by not making eye contact and rushing. The environment is calm and friendly, though it can be a noisy, busy lunch place. There is room to park a truck and RV off to the side. This is the best place in the world, and guests will be back when passing through.
