Waited 90 min to get 4 easy to make meals, was cold and not very good. Not enough clean glasses available to order margaritas, The waiter was not trained very well. Cheap tho, fed 4 people for under $40. Won't be back. Was very clean and the inside was nice.

Went there for lunch based on other reviews. I was not impressed. Our food was semi warm, lacked flavor and the shredded chicken was tough as leather. The dish washer must have been filling in for the cook and our waiter. Sorry. I won't be back.

Had dinner there and ordered steak fajitas and a side of quest. Very good, portions very great. Really liked the rice. Service was very prompt. Only thing that could be improved would be if staff can wear masks properly.

I'm not sure why you even have to give 1 star. Looking back at the reviews apparently they've been open for a couple of years, not sure whether that's surprising or sad. I can't sp-eak for the food itself, but I imagine it's asap worthless as their effort. Called in 35 minutes before close on a started to place an order and then when the overpaid lady on the phone started to ask what I wanted a different employee apparently said the kitchen was closed. I'm guessing a cook who is probably even more so overpaid than tweedle dee on the phone. So then tweedy dee the relays tweedy dump message that the kitchen is closed im like seriously? In which tweedle dee hung up on me. I just wish i had 2 more thumbs, so I could give this place 4 thumbs down!!!

This place was just meh for me. They got my drink order wrong, I wanted a margarita on the rocks and received a frozen instead, but that's no big deal.. still good. Then I ordered a large quesadilla and received a small one, which kind of sucked but oh well it was cheaper. Waitress didn't really check on us much.. the place wasn't even busy. Queso was mediocre. Kind of a crap experience for our anniversary. Not terrible, not great.

My wife and I are not experts on food but we love Mexican and this has become our favorite place. It seems when we eat out “which is rare in COVID times” one of three things is always an issue. You can get good food at a good price but the service is poor. You can get good service and good food but the price is too high. At Agave we love the food, the pricing, and the service is great. In general, takeout Mexican food seems a gamble, but we have been pleased with every take out dinner so far.
Love this place. Great margaritas and food. The in house tequila is smooth. The only reason I gave four stars is there needs to be an improvement on the chips. The salsa is excellent.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Springfield. Great food, very clean and the staff are friendly. Just tried the poblano shrimp,WOW. I love the hot salsa and the spicy margarita.Highly recomended.
