Our waitress took 10 minutes to take our order, then when she handed our food 20 minutes after that we realized her fingernails were so filthy. The windows next to the booth seats have bug poop all down the trim. Every single sauce bottle on their tables is 1/10th of the way full and it was difficult to look for one with any sauce, also every bottle was sticky or slimy on the side. Our food was definitely not worth the 30 minute wait. While we waited for our food we were being bothered by the flies inside of this restaurant. Once we finished waiting on our check we went up to the front counter to pay since our waitress didn't bring us our ticket because she was outside smoking a foot away from the front door. Horrible food, terrible service and disgusting environment.

Ordered an omelet with toast and hashbrowns, omelet tasted like it was cooked on a muddy rock, toast was not done, hashbrowns were awful, soggy, burnt on outside and cold on inside, omelet fell apart, was undercooked and tasted like dirt, when I went in to get the food it smelled like roach spray, I'd be surprised if roaches would be hungry enough to eat the food there

First and last visit. The parking lot was very dark. My wife ordered the walleye and salad 🥗 with the in house made ranch dressing First thing you need to know is if you order a salad. It is just lettuce nothing else. The fish was 2 big pieces but you could tell it was rewarmed the coating was flaking off and the fish was dry( rewarm) . I had the ham and beans cornbread and fried potatoes and onions. The beans where not hot. And I would bet came straight out of a can and warmed up the hame is not cooked with or come in the can with the beans it's a small portion of the diced ham just tossed in the bowl. The cornbread was hot but hard as a rock on the bottom. And and the fried potatoes where so overcooked it was like eating potato chips. It looked a bit rundown .we had ice water to drink. One waitress but she was polite and friendly and was on top of things the best she could. Cost 35$ and we left hungry. Almost forgot we had the fried mushrooms with the house made ranch dressing and they where chrisp on the outside and very good and they give huge portions but it just lacks the homade cooking
Parking: Parking was a little tight and the parking lot was dark

First time ever dinning here and was extremely disappointed food especially the salad because it wasn't a salad it was a bowl of lettuce that's not a salad a salad has tomatoes and cucumber at least most places put cheese and shredded carrots as well my husband Ordered ham and beans and fried potatoes they were probably fried in the fryer because they definitely weren't pan fried and his beans tasted like they were dumped out of a can and add shom shredded ham to it and corn bread was hard like a brick the only thing that tasted alright was our breaded mushrooms we ordered thank goodness for those otherwise I would have paid for food I couldn't eat server filled everyone around us drinks up but never offered a refill or even a discount for the lettuce bowl .

This place was closed, dark, door locked, cars with flat tires all around it, no parking. Appears to be out of business. Not sure when it closed. Unable to give a better rating. Pictures do not accurately show the present condition of the property.

You’ll be fine if you don’t mind an old, run down facility with low quality food. It was extremely disappointing. The positive reviews were very misleading.

It was a last minute decision due to the snow storm, 2 ladies and a cook. We had burgers, fries and chocolate cream pie. Burgers were overcooked, fries were fine, pie was the highlight. I'd say prices were fair, but they weren't... they charged us more than the menu prices... We went there based on previous reviews....
I'm not gonna sugar coat it... 👎 Pass on this place.

Sort of tired looking place, but the food was good and the service was very good. A good place to eat and one where the staff appreciate your patronage

Me and my brother were treated terribly and I'm pretty sure it was because we were the only black patrons.
They looked shocked when we walked through the door, and barely acknowledged our existence the entire time despite the restaurant only having a few other tables. I tried to make conversation with our waitress when she asked what we wanted and I told her that we were new there and she just walked away without a word. The other waitress would quickly look away if we made eye contact with her which made us so uncomfortable it's not even funny.
When we got our food, it was tough and flavorless and by that time I was ready to go. Our waitress had given us our check early on in the meal so by the time we were done I was trying to get the attention of the waitresses by looking their way and they just straight up ignored us.
I go to the counter to ask where we pay and without looking up at me she says you pay up here (which would've been nice to know when we were given our check) and they finally rang us up for our meals. I grabbed my little brother and we left and they said NOTHING to us as we left. No goodbye, no have a nice day. It was extremely clear they didn't want us there and I've not been that uncomfortable in a long time.
If you're white and like to eat overcooked mediocre food, by all means go to Alli's Family Restaurant. But if you're a minority, and like to be treated like a person while you eat out, please go somewhere else.

TL;DR: if you're not white, eat somewhere else.
Probably the worst experience I've ever had. If you're expecting any kind of welcoming environment, don't come here (if you're black, that is). Our waitress showed us no hospitality; she didn't even introduce herself. My sister attempted to smile at another waitress but was completely ignored. As for the food, calling it mediocre is a reach; the shrimp was gummy, the baked potatoes were undercooked, my steak was overdone, and my sister's chicken was dry. The only good thing that we had here was the soup. After my sister informed our waitress that we hadn't been there before, she left our check on the table and disappeared. We waited at our table for about 10 minutes before my sister went up to see whether or not we should pay at the front, at which point she was told we were by a woman who wouldn't even look her in the face. When we finally left, they didn't say "Have a nice day" or anything like that to us.
It's actually wild that customer service can be this bad.

The food was not excellent, but it was good. If you're looking for a place to get a cheap meal with plenty of food and you don't care about service, cleanliness, professionalism or any of that, this is the place for you. If you do care about those things, you can pay about an extra $4 per meal and go to a different restaurant that actually puts effort into their place of business. The menus were absolutely disgusting, the paper was all crinkled up inside the plastic from being wet multiple times. They had stuff all over them. Menues don't cost that much guys, get them laminated or something. Also, I'm seeing a common thread in the other reviews, bad service. It seems like if you're a regular you get great service and maybe even better food. It didn't seem like it had anything to do with race, we are white, and one of the other parties was black and they got decent service but again, they are probably regulars. If they figure you're just passing through, they don't really care if you come back, because they know you're probably not going to be in the area again. The cash register area smelled like a dumpster. The front entry smelled like cleaner. Definitely a bit odd. If you want to eat here and you get grossed out by lack of cleaning, don't look up. The ceiling is absolutely disgusting. The lady that served us basically acted like she couldn't care less if we stayed or not. It also kind of seems like they don't really know what things are supposed to be. My wife ordered a montecristo, what she got was a ham and turkey sandwich on French toast. A Monte Cristo is supposed to be shaved ham and turkey on a hoagie roll, breaded, deep fried, and dusted with powdered sugar. My Philly cheesesteak was pretty good as far as taste, but it was huge chunks of steak on a hoagie roll and trying to keep it together was quite the struggle. A Philly cheesesteak is supposed to be chopped up steak, again, lack of effort. It seems like they have way too many things on their menu to be able to keep track of what's what and actually put any effort into any one item. In short, the food was definitely okay, the price was great, but the service was not. We've paid about the same price for much much more elsewhere.
Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions, I would honestly avoid this restaurant like the plague. They don't seem to be very open to special requests and honestly if you have a gluten allergy, they would probably feed you bread and say "bread is made with wheat not gluten" they don't seem to be very bright.
Parking: The parking leaves a lot to be desired. That's all I'll say about that.
