This was my first time trying Breadsmith and I was really disappointed. I bought a loaf of their most popular bread, which tasted good as I was given a sample; however, within 3 days it had mold on it. I paid $15 for a loaf of bread and 2 scones. It was also really dark inside, I don't recall the lights even being on there miiiiight have been one on up front, im not positive, but overall, very dark inside. Breadsmith in Springfield, MO is such a disappointment after enjoying the cinnamon swirl in Appleton, WI. They clearly are NOT all created equal. It must depend on who is doing the baking. The cinnamon swirl is a joke. Barely any swirl as seen in the picture I posted. The person behind the counter acted like it was going to be a huge mess to slice because of all the cinnamon. Okay…. I got home and sliced it myself with no issue and no mess. I tried buying it again thinking...
