Bruno's Italian Restaurant

Best Bolognese I have ever had - order it almost every time I eat at Bruno's. The service is quick and efficient.

Sherry , our waitress was fantastic! Best service I've had in a few years, at any restaurant. I hadn't eaten here in a long time, simply because Italian food is one of my least favorites, but we were out with friends, but they do a great job, and have a selection between fish, chicken, and different types of pasta with sauce. Love that they maintain the history, large mural, and ambience, of the prior owner, Bruno The garlic bread, appetizer with marinara sauce is fantastic and a great value. Wine list is broad and fairly priced .

We went on a Friday night for date night. We arrived at 8:30 the place was clean and inviting. They were out of pizza, mushrooms and a couple other items. The Spaghetti Bolognese was delicious but the portion not worth $24 + a $4 gluten free up charge. The caprese was ok but we had to ask for the basil and received like 1 or 2 small leaves, there was almost no balsamic glaze and also requested more which was still not much. I ordered a Diet Dr Pepper and was charged $4. It was literally a can and they only had 1. When I asked for a refill she brought me what was left in the can. The bread was cold, not room temperature but like it was stored in the fridge. My husband said the soup was good.For a $72 bill the experience and quality was not impressive.

Subpar but was very busy and waitress did a good job. Crème brûlée was very good and better than many metropolitan cities

We arrived at restaurant opening; 4:00 pm; because we had a 6:00pm show. We explained to the waitress we wanted to not be rushed. We came early to enjoy our wine, appetizers, etc. They didn't give us a minute to taste our wine before delivering our stuffed mushrooms; “cold”. They then rushed us by delivering our salad before we finished the cold mushrooms. After that experience, we asked the waitress to please ask the kitchen to not rush our entree, and allow us time to enjoy our salad and another glass of wine. That did not happen. We got half way through our salad, and they delivered our entree; which we turned away; per our previous request. 20 minutes later; they brought back the entree; dried-up; left-over. $187 total for a dinner worth $40 at most. I will not be going back.

This is a nice, quaint restaurant in a cool space. The food and service were excellent. The only negative in our experience was that some of the staff were bringing in supplies through the back door, so it was left open an extended amount of time, which made it pretty cold inside while we were eating. But once they were done, it warmed up. I would definitely eat there again.

Great service despite the kitchen being a bit backed up. Food was excellent and worth the wait!

Waited 2 hours for entrees to be served and the food was below average. Service was slow and we were brought the wrong item 3 times.

For everything being carbs, every dish was so light and tasty. Even the simple ingredients had so much flavor. Service was great and we were well taken care of the whole night! Favorite Italian restaurant in Springfield hands down

The spritz was not good. Overall, it was really good. The service was top-notch. The carbonara was good but REALLY salty.

I visited this place On 8/30/2024 around 6:30pm. The food was great! My waiter was amazing. All the female workers there could take notes from the male workers. The women had pissy attitudes all night,

Thank you, Bruno's - as always. You are a Springfield treasure. Lindsey did a great job as our server and our seafood was fantastic as always. The Grouper flavor was so savory and the scallops were spot-on as always.

The best food in all of Springfield hands down! This is a must try.
