We have really enjoyed their brisket, pork belly, pulled pork, and sausages in the past. I haven’t tried what I just ordered yet, so can’t comment on that now, BUT, my word there were only 2 guys working at the peak of lunchtime and I waited in line almost 40 minutes (I walked in at 11:50 and walked out at 12:29) I am generally a patient person but that is ridiculous! Then to make matters worse I listened to these guys ask everyone if they wanted spicy or house bbq sauce and onions, pickles, jalapeños when ordering and I was never asked about these things nor was I given any. But, the guy didn’t hesitate to ask me to basically address tipping…. Are you KIDDING me??? The customer service here has just went so downhill!! We don’t like ANYTHING here enough to wait 40 minutes and then not be treated like everyone else! We won’t be back!!!

The meats are amazing, especially the burnt ends. I could go on and on about the meats but not the rest. First, they somewhat pressure you to tip after you wait in line to order and don’t give you even a paper plate to eat off of. You have to rip off a piece of paper near the drink station to eat off of. Secondly, there are very few sides, beans and chips mostly. Third, the seating area is spacious but is hard surfaces to sit on making it a little uncomfortable and loud. If you get this takeout, I think it would be amazing option for you if you provide your own sides. The meats are possibly the best in town but it’s not a great restaurant to sit and eat at.Parking: The parking lot is huge. The only problem is if the Starbucks line gets backed up and blocks your car.

This is real texas brisket. Hard to find this taste outside of Texas.

I came here with my family a few years ago. When I pass this restaurant I always have good memories. However, today has changed everything. When it use to be busy and you were greeted with friendly men behind a counter, you could get your sides and a long ice tub for your drinks made a great entrance.Today...empty with 2 people who was extremely slow. We waited for at least 25 min. They no longer have a place to get your own condiments and pickles ect...Disappointed? very sad at the changes.
I'm in town for a short time from Oregon. I just happened to stumble across this absolutely amazing place. Kamau was who helped us order and was amazing. Thank you. I will be talking about the burnt ends for years.

Awesome bbq mainly meat not alot of sides. Pricey 58 for 2 for
City Butcher did an amazing job catering lunch after my mother's funeral. It was a difficult time, but they helped me plan every detail. Delivery and setup was on time and very professional. The brisket was superb, as always! Melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfectly seasoned. The bbq beans are a favorite too. We also enjoyed the pulled pork, cole slaw, and their awesome variety of sauces. You really can't go wrong with City Butcher. 5 stars, for sure!

Incredible Barbecue! I had the brisket and pork belly sandwich. Ohmygoodness it was stacked, tender, and tasty. Jalapeño cheesy corn was good, and definitely had a kick. Friends had the pork fried beans and said they were also delicious. I highly recommend this place.

I can't stress enough how good City Butcher is. I've traveled all over the country and had a lot of smoked meats, and City Butcher is on par with the greatest in the country. The rub is just outstanding
