Had to edit my review due to our last visit on a Saturday afternoon. The chili burger I ordered was tepid at best, (both the burger and chili). They were in a rush to close I guess and didn't take the time to serve us their usually good, fresh fare. The cook kept yelling at the staff to hurry up and stop standing around talking. As the owner pulled up in her car, that was when the staff (not our server) stopped visiting with one another and stopped making their crude jokes...
Classic old school diner. Burger was good. Looked to be hand pressed. Onion rings were very good. Definitely want to get a dessert next time. Only down side is no fountain drinks, soda is available but cans. Great spot on Route 66!
We ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The food was good and hot. The pancakes were nice and fluffy! Everyone that worked there was so friendly. The place isn’t very big, but clean and very reasonable priced. We would definitely go there again.
