Nice little treasure nestled in a mini mall in Springfield that serves up a pretty good authentic Cuban sandwich. The pork is savory, the ham is fresh and it has just the right amount of mustard. All of pressed firmly between two thin slices of Cuban Bread. It’s a small place but there are enough seats inside to dine in. You just have to park across the building at the mini mall. But it’s really close.
As a Tampa Florida born and raised and Cuban Missouri resident. One of the main things I’ve missed was the food of Cuba. Almost everywhere I’ve been has been not so authentic. Especially when it comes to the Cuban bread which I have missed so much. Today I had the real deal and almost brought tears to my eyes at the first bite. Highly suggest this place to eat and ill definitely be back many times to come.
I was born and raised in Tampa, and their Cuban sandwich was the best I've ever had outside of Tampa. In fact, their Cuban is better than most shops you'll find IN Tampa too! They use real Cuban bread from La Segunda in Tampa, and real Cuban bread is the most important part of an authentic Cuban sandwich. It's light and airy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. There's nothing like it! With incredible food and service, I know we'll be back!
