While I've been to El sombrero many times and I really like your food there is a waitress there...an older lady. I don't know if she's the owner. But she never smiles. Barely stands there long enough to take your order then when she brings you something doesn't wait long enough to see if you need something else. Then when she walks by without looking at you and you ask for something else she seems put out. Then when you're done eating and she brings...

We have been coming here for over 10 years! One of our loyal spots. Family owned and operated. Wonderful options on the menu. I believe they even have a vegetarian options. They have some of the best rice and queso in town. I’ve had a lot and most I forget to review. I am trying to be better. EAT HERE! Support local!

Wonderful local business. We’ve been eating here since we moved to Springfield in 2020. Haven’t ever had a bad experience!

Food is great, service is quick, prices are affordable, and the people are just fantastic! The owner and his family are genuinely great people. They get to know their customers.

Our 6 year old daughter loves it when he calls her “Princess.” Her favorite part is paying for peppermint patties or candy at the register...
