So I don't think Haruno was particularly good, in fact, it was bad. But it may have been my own fault. I took my grandson, because that's where he wanted to go (he has been a few other times and likes it a lot). But I couldn't care less about sushi, and from what I saw, it's all they do well. Both our dinners came with both soup and salad. The salad was pedestrian, basically a big big bowl of lettuce. The lentil soup was all but inedible. Even the kid thought...
My husband and I were out to celebrate me getting a new job. We came in and were sat right away. Our waiter came over, brought us water and we were able to order our sushi right away. Food was absolutely delicious. This is one of our favorite places to splurge a little.
We always love Haruno. Like everywhere else, Valentines day gets a little hectic. We usually eat at Haruno once or twice a month. They started getting a little petty with upcharges for substitutions on their dishes though.
