Kim Dynasty Sushi Bar & Grill

We went there for dinner. We were a little suspicious when we walked in at 6:00 p.m. and we were the only ones in the restaurant! We ordered the Hibachi grill. The waitress was not friendly at all. She never smiled the whole time she waited on us. But I thought some people just don't smile so I'd give her that. Well the food came out and my husband's calamari was burnt. He asked the waitress to come to the table and that's when everything went South! My husband told her that his calamari was burnt and ask if he could get it remade. She literally glared at him and said the calamari is not burnt! My husband looked at her stunned that a waitress would argue with a customer over whether the food was burnt or not! I could see that it was burnt. She said so.... do you want something else? My husband said no ma'am I just want the calamari I just want it cooked right. She was very defensive and said we will make you the same order then. I finally said to her, are you okay? She just glared at me and said she was fine. They re-cooked his meal and the calamari was perfect. A new server brought back the meal and was nice. The hateful waitress never came back after she argued with my husband. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. I would give it 0 stars but the young man that took over for the rude waitress was nice

So my first time eating here as I’ve always just essentially driven right past it. Unaware of the great sushi that awaited inside. These rolls were some of the heartiest rolls I’ve had around here. Mind you it was very quiet inside as it’s a Monday night at 730pm. None the less, the owner came out and banged out my three rolls I ordered, and upon the first bite I was completely sold. The price was great, the rolls were very proportionate and as for the rice to meat ratio, 5 out of 5! If you haven’t, please give this joint a try and tell me otherwise. Very happy I stopped on my way out of town and to get gas at Sam’s Club.

This is the first time I’ve ever wrote a goggle review. We order out and dine in frequently, excellent food experiences. But today’s lunch had to be the worst. I ordered Cashew Chicken. Chicken was literally so tough and over-cooked, I could not even cut it with my knife! So stringy, not fit to eat. Will not be going back! Crab Rangoon and rice was the only thing worth eating.

The atmorsphere was fine but it was weird thst they were completely empty at lunch time on a payday
Me and my buddy had sushi it tasted expired and made us both sick to our stomach soon after
We got steak hibachi and the hibachi was fine but extremely salty
The noodles were even saltier than the steak.
If all this wasn’t bad enough they add a 8.1% tax for “food” to the end of the bills…
So to sum it up
Expired tasting sushi
Overly salted food
Extremely expensive
And they charge extra on top of that
It was a very disappointing experience

Phenomenal sushi. We’ve been trying new places since our old favorite sushi place closed, and just nothing seemed to hit the spot. Found this place on a random search, and gave it a shot, and have to say …..super impressed. Will definitely be going again.

This place was awesome the sushi was so good the price is reasonable.the owner was friendly.for sure we gonna all come back on this place.its worth it.give them a try your not gonna regret it.

The food was just OK. I ordered a spider roll and vegetable hibachi meal with hot green tea. The green tea is brewed with the same wok as the Chinese food on the menu according to the waiter. Everything took a long time and came to me in the wrong order I received my side salad and miso soup after the hibachi. It was most likely due to there only being 1 waiter. The miso soup tasted a little grainy I've had better. The sushi was ok but did have a weird chew to it. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day.

I come in about once a week while working nearby. Their food is unmatched for portion and also quality. The server is such a nice guy always taking care of you. Making sure everything is absolutely stellar. Cannot wait to bring my wife and show off this magnificent place in Springfield best kept secret around. I tried to give it another chance. The first time I went the steak was fine but the chicken was so dry and overly covered in sauce. I went back to try the shrimp. The shrimp was way too done. I was chewing forever. I hate I spent my money twice and was disappointed. Wish I could get my money back.

This was my second time coming here. My first time the food tasted a little bland and I decided to give it another chance and boy oh boy was it improved. I loved the food and the service was amazing, but I couldn’t help but feel cold. It seemed that the heat was off and it somewhat ruined my eating experience, along with that I noticed how young the kids that are working here look. In my eyes they look underaged and it got my attention that I heard a conversation between the kids and they were all under the age of 16.
