Had the fried catfish and the shrimp po boy. They were both great. Their chips are homemade
the establishment should absolutely be ashamed with the product they are serving their customers. this alongside a side order of boudin balls costed me over $20. this is the chicken and sausage “gumbo”. as a cajun myself, i am fully aware that restaurant quality won’t be authentic but it should at least be QUALITY. this gumbo is grey looks greenish which if you look up what it SHOULD look like…is brown. the rice (even as a side order) was mushy. i called the restaurant...read full review
Thought we'd try something new today. Boy we're we in for a pleasant surprise! My husband had the Fried Fish Dinner and I had the Muffaletta. I just loved the Olive relish that they had put on it. It was so flavorful!! Loved it!!!!. I highly recommend Big Easy Grill!!! **********

Based on the reviews, Big Easy Grill Restaurant is the place to get Cajun/Creole food in Springfield, MO. The restaurant has been a favorite for years since the original location. It is a hidden gem with delicious, authentic cuisine not far off from real New Orleans cooking. The best Gumbo and Po'Boy since New Orleans are served here, and the etoufee and po boys are on point. The menu features a dirty jambalaya medium spice wet with fresh chips, which is heaven on earth when the chips are dipped in the jambalaya. The pork loin sandwich (tenderloin) is easily one of the best in Springfield, with good crunch and well-seasoned breading. It comes with chips or sweet potato fries, which are lightly dusted with sugar. The bread pudding is also a highlight, and the bread pudding sauce is great for dipping. The Shrimp Po Boy is awesome with second-to-none seasoning, and the Cajun Hamburger is cooked to perfection. The decorations are pretty cool, and the servers are nice. The front dining room can be a bit noisy with a crazy blinding sun reflection at certain times. Everything coming out of the kitchen looks great, and customers will be back soon.
