Maso Pizza Bar Restaurant

First time visit, and I WILL be back. I tried the wedge salad as well as the Cali Hali pizza. The food came out very fresh. I highly recommend both. Our waitress Paige was kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and timely. The music was at a nice low volume and the temperature of the place was perfect. It was very clean as well. Prices were very fair for what you get!

While it has good intentions, it’s overpriced bar food/pizza parlor with outrageously overpriced drinks. $11 for a single glass of wine!!! Run across the street to Sam’s Club & buy a couple bottles yourself.
The clientele look like people who wish they were Hickory Hills CC members. All are mostly 80+, which is surprising with the inflated prices.
The service is impeccable but it doesn’t make up for the ridiculous prices.

It was fairly busy, but I never had an empty glass, the food was amazing and fast! I had a salad and the spinach dip. Both were amazing. The staff was working hard and Aviah was amazing!

We were passing thru town on vacation looking for a place for a late meal, & not only did they keep the kitchen open later for us but the food was excellent! We had delicious pizza & a great healthy green salad with a couple of beers while watching some great football & baseball on their many screens. The olace is clean & comfortable. Starting with the phone call we made to see when the kitchen closed, the manager/bartender, Colin, went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed & satisfied & even looking forward to coming back another time...even tho we live in SC😄 Highly recommend.

First time visiting this restaurant. Ordered food 1 large pizza for our kids and 2 smaller pizzas for each of us. Server brings out food and puts on the table. In grabbing the drink menu from center of the table he drops the drink menu directly into our kids pizza. Absolutely no doubt this was an accident. And not enough of reason to give a bad review. However, how he handled this situation was far far worse. He apologized and tried to tell us it was fine. It’s was not. Then tried to tell us he had just wiped the drink menu down. Now he’s straight up lying to our faces, as if we are fools. Twice I told him to get the manager and he kept trying to gas light us. I warned him I’m trying really hard not to get angry but you need to get him now. He still doesn’t listen until I stand up and suddenly he decides to go. Manager never comes either. He comes back with the receipt to pay for the beer she drank. I paid him and left. Never step foot in the place again. Ruined our dinner and disrespected us about it multiple times

Wonderful food and excellent staff. Such a nice place to chill with the ladies or have a family dinner.

Lots of good pizzas, good wings.

The bartender was nice and my food to go did not take too long. I ordered the Verde salad, French Dip Sandwich and the Fried chicken liver app. The chicken livers were burnt to a tooth breaking crunch and inedible for $14. No Au Jus for the sandwhich—it is a French Dip??? The sandwich was good but not the way it should have been. The salad was fine.

The bartender/manager here is a super nice guy. Cocktails are excellent, atmosphere is better than expected for a pizza place.

Had a great dinner at Mazo with my family tonight. The cheese bread and pepperoni pizza were awesome. At one point our 3 year was throwing a bit of a fit. I walked her outside and the owner saw us. He took the time to ask her name and then followed up by asking if she and her sister liked ice cream. He treated them to ice cream which I’m sure they enjoyed more than the pizza ? An extremely nice gesture!

Waited forever for drinks and never saw our waitress again. We just left. We’ve had good food here before, so this was a big let down for date night. Will probably try again and update review for next visit.

Drove 20 minutes because the reviews were very good and after working 10 hours at the fair for 8 consecutive days from out of town, pizza sounded great. Got here at 9:30 and are told the kitchen is closed. Everything says 11pm. Website, online, on the door. Nothing about closing the kitchen at any other time. That's just wrong.

Outstanding! We had a pepperoni and an “I Love Chickens” pizza. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. Highly recommend this spot.
