Family holiday dinner for eleven. We had four vegans and two pescatarians-so we were a tough crowd for any restaurant. Nicola’s pleased everyone! We requested Ella and she handled everything in exemplary fashion. Ella and Nicola’s kitchen staff custom made delicious vegan dinners that were raved about! All food and cocktails were very good. Ella’s service was exemplary-including her excellent photography skills! The food/drink/service we received made this a good value. We will be back! Buck
My husband took me there for dinner to make my day better. We were seated at Katie's table. She took our order and disappeared. We got no salt or pepper for the table, we never got a drink refill, my filet was so overcooked I could not eat. Thanks for ruining my birthday dinner with horrible service and your high school aged cook (that is literally what the server who delivered our food said) ruined my filet.

For high prices one expects excellent food. That was not the case tonight. My rating is actually 3.5. Place so dark used cell phone to read menu. Chicken parm not up to standard.

For an Italian restaurant, not a lot of pasta options. But the Steak Gargonzola was delicious! However, only 4 stars because several at our table ordered "well done" and it came back quite red. But once sent back, then good to go. Caesar salad excellent as well.

I ordered the duck. I expected a breast. I got 2 legs. 1 leg was perfect the other was very dry and over. The sauce was amazing. I also ordered the snails. They were much better with with bread. The creme brulee wasn't scorched enough so the top didn't have that lovely crack I look forward to. Overall the food was good. One more thing. I need light to read the menu!
From the prices thought we were getting fresh hand-made pastas, but that was not the case.

For our anniversary we went to Nicola's. It was very nice. I had chicken parmesan, which was amazing! My husband had the filet in a gorgonzola cheese sauce. The only negative would be the blue cheese on top of the steak overpowered everything. The ceasar salad had the most amazing flavor, and of course, the turtle cheesecake for dessert was great! Overall, this is a great place for a special occasion!

Best Italian food and best service. Had my wedding reception here and the owner/head chef came out personally to prepare a vegetarian pasta for some of the guests that don’t eat meat. Also they have the most professional and considerate waitress/waiter staff you will ever meet. Their peppercorn steak is one of the best steaks I’ve had in all of Missouri.
Big thanks to every who helped my family and friends! Will definitely be our new go to place for Italian food. Although, I am sure if you told the owner to make you anything even if it wasn’t Italian he or the other cooks would gladly do so and make sure to make it the best food you’ve had. Didn’t even feel like a restaurant but rather being a guest in someone’s home. Once again thank you so much!
