OMO Japanese Soul Food Reviews
My husband and I recently visited Springfield as an early birthday week getaway for myself. I hadn't planned any place to eat out at, nor did I have any ideas in mind. I was going through places that popped up near our hotel on google maps to see if something stood out. I came across OMO and I saw they had Ramen. I LOVE Ramen! I decided that was where we would have dinner the moment I found the restaurant on google.

One of the best restaurants in Springfield. Service is always friendly and fast, the food is authentic and some of the best food I've ever had. The first 3 times I ate at OMO, the food somehow elicited a feeling of nostalgia for something I'd never had. It's amazing and I will always recommend it.
We go every time we come through Springfield!

OMO Japanese Soul Food is a cozy and inviting restaurant serving delicious Japanese cuisine. The aromas in the restaurant are amazing, and the menu offers a range of dishes, including appetizers, sushi, and ramen. The Teriyaki Chicken Omo Box is a popular choice, featuring tender chicken glazed with house teriyaki sauce and a generous variety of sides. The Snowing mountain roll and Volcano Roll are must-try sushi options. The restaurant also serves a variety of entrees, including the Shrimp Curry with extra shrimp.
The menu is vegetarian-friendly, with a dedicated vegetarian section and great options for plant-based diners. The service is efficient and friendly, with consistent quality of food and atmosphere. The decoration style of the restaurant is charming, with cute cats adding to the cozy vibe. The environment is quiet and relaxed, making it ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a date night.
The food is crafted with care, and each dish is full of flavor. The crab rangoon is creamy and flavorful, the tempura is light and crispy, and the chicken katsu is juicy with just the right amount of crunch. The ramen broth is rich and deeply satisfying, and the vegetarian miso soup is a great deal at only $1.99. While the wait time can be a downside, the hearty portions and fresh taste make it a place worth visiting often.
