Truly one of the best restaurants in Springfield. It's a great place to go if you want cheap and delicious barbecue. The way I do it is I order a brisket sandwich with a hot link on the side, which I cut up and add to the brisket sandwich. My band, The 3 Peace Band, played a FrIday night gig there. Here is what I found to be true.
1. The food at Pappy's is really good! I had a Brisket sandwich and the other band mates hand various items and we all agree. Ozark Bar B Que at its best.

Great off the beaten path BBQ & Bar. Live music some nights. Burnt ends were awesome, Reuben was huge and the Cuban was tasty. Great service by Landon the owner. Overlook the neighborhood and get past the front door so you can smell goodness.
