I ate there for the first time yesterday. I had pork and cabbage dumplings. I thought they were really good. Food was pretty fast. The staff that waited on me were very friendly. They even gave me a gift of a little bottle. I looked like a lot of interesting things to try in the future.

Loved the interior design and atmosphere. Everyone was very kind and attentive. The food! We had a wide variety of unexpected flavors, and it was all so good.

Food was decent, and the server was nice. The food took around an hour to make, and we were one of the only people there. They said they only had 1 cook working, this would explain the time taken. If they could just be faster and have slightly larger portions, then I’d say this would be a great spot.

Today was our first time eating at Rice & Dumplings. We had both pork with mushroom and pork with cabbage dumplings. They were amazing! The service was great and the restaurant is really beautiful. We will definitely add this to a favorite place to eat and return often.

We stopped in and got a rice bowl with velvet Chicken in shiitake mushrooms. Was really disappointed by the tiny amount of mushrooms and chicken over the rice. The bowl itself was delicious but not enough for the price IMO.The servers were very kind but seemed to really uncomfortable. They are definitely told to peddle certain dishes and they did not seem comfortable doing it. This is not their fault at all they were so kind and obviously we left a 20% tip.The atmosphere was not a good. The restaurant had no music playing so it was really awkward hearing everybody else eat food. Not a whole lot was put into the decor. And there's a really loud "welcome in" sound every time someone opens a door.I may come back to try the dumplings but this is definitely not one of my go-to places.

Great dumplings so nice to have an option that isn’t your typical Springfield food. Wonderful service. Excellent flavor. This is our second visit and both times we have thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

The drapery on the ceiling was a neat touch. Hearing that robots prepare some of the food - you would think they would highlight that fact by having a gallery window into the kitchen. The food was honest very basic. We had pineapple fried rice at the suggestion of our server and it was bland. Soy sauce couldn’t even get close to fixing the lack of flavor. We also had 3/4 lbs of carrot, corn and pork dumplings. They were fine - very sweet and not savory at all. The food was not hot, all came out luke warm. Would not likely recommend or return.

The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived. The wait staff was friendly, but did not speak much English. I really wanted to like this restaurant because of . . . what else? Dumplings!! Unfortunately, they were very small and lacking in flavor and ingredients. You won’t get a variety like you would in a Chinatown Tea Parlor, egs., no shrimp, water chestnuts, over-size roasted pork buns, etc. The cost for the small food quantity is high. The Yangzhou fried rice I ordered had ham in it, and it was ok in flavor. It wasn’t traditional in that it had ham instead of shrimp, and it had edamame in it as well. The hot chili oil tasted a little bitter to me; it didn’t pack much of a punch. My expectations for a dumpling place were unrealistic in that I was expecting a variety of dim sum like in a tea parlor, but this spot fell far short, unfortunately.

Food was delicious! Fried rice was the highlight. Would love to see a soup dumpling, and some appetizer options such as Edamame. Beer and sake would be great to! Will be back!

Honestly just terrible. I felt scammed for how much money I spent to get measly portions and terrible food. Whole restaurant feels AI generated.
