BE AWARE!!! I personally love steak and shakes food. But very unhappy with this location went there on monday with my daughter and ate inside my bill was only 15 bucks so I used my card for the bill and left a cash tip. They ran my card the next day for another 5 dollars for a tip when they knowingly know I left cash tip and put 0.00 on tip and 15.00 on ticket after paying with card and signed paper. Talked to several people some Jana saying their going to refund me money that they accidentally charged on card. I ask for a picture or email of proof of refund they wont send it to me. They put me in the negative on my card now my bank card it's charging me overdraft fee!!!! It has been 2 days now haven't heard nothing back. Wonder how many other people their accidentally charging on cards!!!!

Came into this steak ‘n shake for some food and the white and round lady wearing glasses in a blue shirt whom i believe was a manager was being very disrespectful to her employees. when she came over to help me she continued to be disrespectful to me as well. I had to wait so long for my food which was pick up and she brought it out on a trey instead of a togo bag. i politely asked her to make it togo like it should’ve been and she continued to give me the same attitude and disrespect. The employees were just doing their job and the manager was being very disrespectful to them and customers.

Me and my Husband stopped to have dinner there on our way home from Illinois. Steak ‘n Shake restaurants are nostalgic for my husband, he grew up going to them. Unfortunately, during our trip in Illinois, we were unable to stop at one. So we stopped in Springfield, Missouri. Our Waitress Billie Was fantastic! She was so friendly, very knowledgeable and was just all around pleasant. As a business owner myself, someone like Billie is who I would want to represent my business. We are on our way home back to Texas, but will be stopping again in April. Hopefully we get to see Billie again.

Destiney (manager) was beyond rude to not only customers, but to her employees as well. She ruined the entire experience for me and my boys. They forgot a burger on the order and she wanted to yell that it was our fault for not telling the server when we told him more than once. Our server was great but Destiney sucks as a human being.

I had to get my own menu and seat myself the waitress ignored me but the male waiter was courteous and took my order ALTHOUGH the price on a triple Burger said $7.99 and it turned out to be $13.00 and I feel it's a little deceptive when you look at the price on the menu then when you get fries and drink the price goes up

Stoped in for lunch the manager was yelling at her staff about who she was going to cut because she didn't need 3 servers at happy hour. I sat at a table a waited for a good 10 minutes no server cam over to even welcome me let alone give me a menu. So I just left to busy yelling at the server to let them work.

We had the nicest waiter!.He got our order perfect and we had many custom orders and all were perfect. Clean restaurant. Fast food with friendly staff. My 1st time, but I ill be back soon. Shout out to Jacob forbeing the best waiter and friendly smile.
