This place is so rad from the list of mixes (titled "new releases" mimicking a lot of my favorite song titles/band names) to the sweet lady who helped us decide between fantastic faves and special mixes. I chose the "butter hell (cookie boi)" and it was probably the best ice cream I've ever had PLUS ITS VEGAN! HECK YEAH!

I've recently been bitten by a tick, contracting Lonestar Tick (AGS) Disease. Claire, I believe, informed me that to her knowledge, marshmallow was the only ingredient I would need to avoid. I bought a Biscoff cookie ice cream, a pecan tart, and a peanut butter macaron that fed me for days. beyond being clean for me to eat, the desserts are among the best I've ever had. suffice to say, i was able to eat my desserts for a couple of days, and i never became sick from unnatural or bovine items, because the desserts truly are cleanly, thoughfully prepared. i'm on the verge of typing "Sweet Emo is a godsend". The decadence of each dessert is especially fantastic.

This place is amazing. Hubby has Alpha-Gal and this is the only place to safely get dairy free ice cream with ZERO chance of cross contamination. The staff has always been amazing and the owner is very personable. We love thos place, and cannot say enough good things about Sweet

It's not easy to find. Gluten-free dairy-free options. Period. But finding gluten-free dairy-free options that are not only genuinely delicious but also regularly rotating flavors?!
My little boy sits at the counter and talks to the lad ies for way longer and is usually comfortable, but they love him genuinely. And he loves them back.
Highly recommend.
Dietary restrictions: All of their stuff is vegan and most of it is gluten free. Cross-Contamination has never been present for me since they opened. Clearly labeled menu and knowledgeable staff.
Kid-friendliness: The staff are lovely and the bathrooms are fit for royalty. Perfect for kiddos.

I've been a loyal customer of this ice cream shop since they opened their first location in Springfield, and I can't say enough about how incredible this place is. The staff is nothing short of amazing, especially when it comes to interacting with my little one, who is autistic. They handle his ice cream orders with such care and patience, making him feel heard and understood. He loves sitting at the bar, chatting with them about how he’s going to grow up to be an ice cream man.
It’s truly heartwarming to see how they respond to him—every time, without fail, his eyes light up with joy. The people who work here don’t just care about their jobs; they’re genuinely good, compassionate individuals.
And the ice cream—let me tell you, it's a game-changer. After being diagnosed with Alpha-Gal Syndrome, finding good food options can be tough, but this place has been a lifesaver. The ice cream is delicious, and their weekly specialty items are out of this world. They had a Shamrock Shake that took me straight back to my childhood; I must have gone five or ten times for that alone. I even took one of my partners here for a date, and she (who can eat dairy) said it tasted amazing.
My only suggestion—and it's a running joke I have with them—is that they should get cup holders for people like me who always have multiple orders on the go.
Other than that, this place is simply outstanding. You won’t regret stopping by.

Ice cream was pretty good for being vegan and sugar free. If you aren't vegan, you can tell it is. Ice cream is made from Oat Milk. But, still pretty good. The two ladies that were there were very nice. (I don't know if I appreciate the belly being shown by one lady.) <-- a little inappropriate. But, still friendly and still pretty good. I'd say it gives "So Delicious" ice cream from Walmart a little run for it's money.
The waitress was wonderful and we talked a little about the Springfield hardcore scene, I just wanna keep going back.
