I don't know if the owner (could be whoever served us!) reads these, but we visited the evening of February 10th, 2024. The young woman working was the only one behind the counter, and she was not only taking orders, some complicated, making suggestions, making all of the orders, SERVING the orders to tables, and bussing everything alone. The line at some points curved beyond the door. I'm not sure for the solid hour we were there enjoying our treats did she have a minute to herself. For that, we tipped handsomely, but she deserves a raise. The dairy free ice cream was excellent. Super smooth, not too sweet, very creamy, and stayed solid, which is hard to find all of those attributes in dairy free ice cream together. I had an Ed's Sauce slush, but instead of just oat milk ice cream, I swirled it with pineapple whip. Altogether, it tasted like a tart Smartie. Pretty good but cloyingly sweet. My partner had a cinnamon, graham cracker, and pretzel shake. It was excellent. Our friend had the Jimmy Eats Swirl bowl, which is essentially a concrete/blizzard. They hand mix their concretes without a blender, which is so impressive. I still can't believe she handled that much of a crowd entirely alone with such complicated orders. Anyways, the ambiance is super chill, imagine Digital Bean from Lizzy McGwire meets Tokyo cat Cafe, but no actual cats. Next time I'm in Springfield again, will be returning for sure. Bonus: They have a buy a meal/take a meal program where you can leave some cash with a digital receipt and someone who needs a meal can take one to redeem for a hot meal. Bonus Bonus(!): the bathroom has a bidet!

My first visit to Sweet Emotions to het some ice cream. Since being diagnosed with Alpha Gal Syndrome I haven’t found any great ice cream until now. Had some vanilla oak ice cream with and peanut s and it was super! I will be going back and bringing some home too.Dietary restrictions: Alpha Gal Syndrome

we visited tonight for the first time and absolutely loved our experience! we are EMO loving fools so we loved all the decor and music that made us feel like we were in college. the ice cream was soooo good and we were happy it was all dairy-free! we will definitely be back again.

Ugh, I hate to be the one to leave a 3-star review, but unfortunately for me it was subpar. I'm a full daily lover, but not opposed to alternatives. I was so looking forward to trying Sweet Emotion and I'm glad I did. The location is fantastic and the employees were very kind and helpful. The decor and theme is super fun and I love the nostalgic emo feel of everything inside. The branding is very much on point. 5/5 stars. For me, what fell short and fell short HARD was the ice cream itself. The flavor of everything was so rich and dense but too overpoweringly oaty. I could barely taste my flavors beyond oats. We tried ube, red velvet, and a chocolate combo. The chocolate one was the best by far because it did compliment the oatbase well in my opinion, but still too overpowering for me and my tastebuds. 1/5 stars. I am glad that Springfield has an alternative ice cream option for my vegan, dairy-free, lactose-free friends and community. However, as a dairy lover myself, I'm going to be sticking with other places!

Amazing ?Such yumminess, it was hard to choose an option especially once you get there and find out there are more limited monthly or weekly options.The ice cream was wonderful, the EMO feel took me back to my teens.Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Loved it! We got a strawberry cheesecake shake and a PB chocolate Oreo shake (two of us shared these). The shakes are fairly large and VERY sweet (& a few cents short of $10 a piece)--we couldn't finish ours--so if you're going with a friend, I highly recommend sharing one! We definitely will next time.
