Captain D's is a fast-food restaurant known for its great food. The manager is described as kind and hardworking. The fish is meaty and not greasy, and the Mac n cheese is creamy. Customers LOVE THERE "FISH-COLESLAW-SHRIMP-OKRA-HUSH PUPPIES"!!! The cocktail and tartar sauce are the best tasting in the country. The food tastes like it did years ago, with the flavor still there. Customers go here at least 3-5 times per month. The restaurant seems to be understaffed, with one employee appearing bothered and unhappy. Overall, the reviews highlight the positive atmosphere and quality of the food, despite the staffing challenges. When customers arrive at the minute they opened, they are friendly and make sure customers have a beverage during their wait, even throwing in extra shrimp. Food is hot and fresh.
