We ate at La Belle Vie this morning and were amazed at the portion sizes, how well seasoned everything was and the cook on our food. The coffee was delicious and they even make their own chai which is the best we’ve had at any coffee shop. We make our own and are quite picky and would absolutely order again! We are self proclaimed food snobs who have catered small and large events with everything made from scratch. This is now one of our favorite places and we’re so happy to have found them. The service was friendly and helpful. We met the owners who are absolute gems and their staff exudes the same happy, friendly attitude. Must try. Must go back again and again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Loved it here before but food quality fell off quite a bit. The lake bake tasted like they made the hash brown nests the day before. It was legitimately the worst thing I have eaten in years and it was always my favorite before. So disappointed.

We had Hot Dirty Chia Latte which was SO-OOOOOOH good. Rogers Biscuits and Gravy, yum? And Avocado Toast alfresco on the patio. Beautiful weather and great food.

Words cannot describe how cute this place is. It’s extremely welcoming. The decor is adorable and so unique. The coffee is so good! I got a regular coffee, added a shot of espresso and topped with whipcream chocolate sauce. The crepes are so delicious. Light and fluffy. I cannot wait to come back. Truly a hidden gem.

Love this family owned restaurant in Frenchtown. Located on 2nd Street with plenty of parking. They have it all, yummy food, fancy coffee, and baked goods. I had the pick 2 for lunch, DELICIOUS roasted peppers soup with a parmesan wafer and the turkey, brie and bacon sandwich. The staff is really friendly and super helpful. The decorations are so pretty. There is an outdoor space away from the road and nice and secluded in the back of the building. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch experience!

A lovely little French café that has some surprisingly large cookies. My friend and I very much enjoyed our coffee and bakery items. A bit oddly specific, but their bacon was quite good as well.

I went early around 8 am on a Saturday. They weren't very busy yet no one greeted me when I came in. It's kind of confusing where to order so I just stood there for a while until I saw the order here sign. I got a blueberry muffin and thought for sure it would be warm or warmed up but it was cold. It was delicious but cold. I went to this same place like a year ago and had a way better experience so I'm not sure what was up this time. It is so cute and cozy inside though!

Great place for breakfast/brunch in the super cute area of Frenchtown, bordering Historic Main Street in St. Charles. I went there with my niece and nephew, and we all got the French toast with berries, and it was great! We also shared a giant cinnamon roll, which was good. The kids had hot chocolate to drink and loved it, while I had a hot toddy and Irish coffee that were great.
Their bakery items and drink menu appear to change with the seasons and what's still available, but I never got anything that wasn't good.
I'm not sure if there's a parking lot specifically for the Cafe, as we walked there. I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't, like most places in that area, so it might be luck of the draw when you arrive and how close a street slot becomes available. It isn't as bad as Main Street can get though, despite it being regularly busy the whole time we were there.
I did walk there a couple other times to get a coffee and pastry or sandwich to go, and there were lines then as well, but it usually moved pretty fast and always tasted great.
