“Working and staying very locally, over from the uk for 10 days,Very much a local hang out felling here, staff seem to know all the people that come in (which is a great thing).Staff are friendly and seem up for a bit of banta.Kitchen was closed when we turned up but that still threw on a pizza for us, which was very much appreciated.I’m sure we’ll return many times during our visit over in the US.Seen a few reviews moaning about the ladies chatting with the people at the bar!! That’s part of their job surely? Talking with their regulars is a sign of good bar tender no?My glass never got empty all evening before I was offered a refill.Highly recommended this bar if you’re in the area.“

“Sat at the bar, and the bartender was really nice and engaging she was super busy mostly fixing the blender for a milk shake and restocking things so I did have to wait on my drink. I was there at 8 pm so maybe there was a big dinner rush before me. Still she was nice. The new grilled cheese cheeseburger wae the bomb. So good“

I stopped in with Family while traveling, 2 hours from home and the Experience was awesome! Food was great, service was great, The Restaurant was very clean.

The cherry on top though, when we left my son accidentally left his switch console in the booth, and when I went back to see if it was still there, staff had picked it up and kept it safe until we came looking for it about an hour later after shopping next door. The Manger personally handed it to me after I gave a description of it, saying he hoped we came back for it, since they knew we were traveling.

10/10 would stop here again!!!“

“The food is pretty good but they nickel & dime you. Example, when you order a salad, it comes with not enough dressing & I’m one who does not require or want a lot or extra salad dressing on my salad. But they charge extra for each addition little cup of salad dressing. And after the party I was with left, I ordered takeout for my wife. They said they gave my order to someone in my party, which I know for a fact they did not. When I got home with the order I had to wait for more than twice as long for, they did not put the extra salad dressing I ordered & payed for in my bag. I know I should’ve checked but I trusted them & they failed.“

“We always get amazing service at this location. The food is also consistently delicious. We both had steak at different temperatures. Both were delicious. Our usual dish is salmon but we were feeling adventurous. We loved that we can eat here within our Weight Watchers points program.“

“Typical bar & grill, with a relatively small bar space but large interior dining spaces plus a small patio near traffic along Dorsett Road. During our latest visit, there was an extremely loud Sunday evening football-watching crowd filling the bar whose shouts echoed through all of the dining spaces. My wife & I received very friendly and efficient table service from Kandice (one of two waitresses covering all tables), and she checked on us regularly. We each enjoyed our dinner choices from the extensive menu: Mushroom Double Smash Burger with fries for her, Prime Beef French Dip with au jus & tater tots for me. Portions were generous enough for us to take home leftovers. We will return to the Maryland Heights MillWoods in the future, with consideration of visiting when major sports events aren't being broadcast.“

“In town for a tournament for my daughter's hockey team and had a smashburger and a cold beer and let me tell you it was awesome! It is kind of pricey but you are paying for convenience. I don't mind paying extra money for quality food It was great“

“I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

The burgers were a little dry and the fries were overly salty, so those might get a pass next time - we even got another order about an hour after our meal came just to see if it was a fluke, and it wasn't. “We came on a very busy day, but after some waiting, which can't be helped, we were given a seat. Our server was friendly, but we didn't see him very much, probably due to it being so busy. The food was great and I was impressed with the portion size. We also had our 14 month old son and they were quick to help bring what he needed. Overall, it was a good experience. “We had my niece’s 25th birthday here and I was a fabulous party. We asked for Becky to serve us which she always does with exuberant smiles and attention. Matt, Satchmo’s owner, was here and mingled with us like any bar/restaurant should. As a chef, this tells me volumes of how he runs his establishment. I religiously order the pork green chili(which is phenomenal) and the fish and chips were to die for, exactly how I like it. This place is the quintessential neighborhood bar!“
