Hate to say this because it used to be the best restaurant in St Joe but it has gone so far away from being anything that it was its sad. We have been to the new location 3 times now hoping it would get better and it’s steadily gotten worse. Ordered the calamari for 8.99 and it came with 9 luke warm pieces including the partials, the seafood courtbouillon was watery and disappointing and the chicken fried chicken is 1/2 what it used to be. The portions were insanely small. There must have been some serious downsizing after the move. Hopefully they fix the problems and it becomes what it used to be.
Worst service I have ever had when I've gone out to eat. I asked for silverware 4 different times over the course of 45 minutes. I ate my entire seafood platter (which tasted like old grease and frozen seafood) with my hands. After I got home I sent the owner/manager a message with my experience. I was not not offered as much as a "I'm sorry". I didn't want a free meal or a discount but I did at least expect an apology for the horrible, dismissive, rude service that I received. I wouldn't recommend this place to a person I was mad at, I have to much respect for my enemies. Don't waste your time, energy or money on this place.
Was the worst experience they said that it was going to be a 30 minute wait then another 30 minute wait then I went back in then it was another hour wait. Had three teenage girls behind the counter playing on their phones, having no idea or any consideration on anybody else else’s time.. had drunk people stumbling out the front door at 7:30.
ate there this eve.....food wasn't bad...BUT all of it was cold. long wait; waitress disappeared didn't check on our food. wasn't brought by her, either. ....no drink refills. my fries/ onion rings were cold, overcooked and soggy. waitress was in over her head. maybe it will get better.?? .... maybe there is hope DONT LET THE FOOD SIT!!
I was excited to check out the new location. The exterior and interior remodels were very impressive and reminded me of Bourbon Street. Service was a little bit slow, but it was a bit busy Saturday night. The food was perfection. The lighting was very harsh and felt like a classroom so that could be improved upon the previous location had better lighting and more ambience.
Very disappointed in the service and the food wasn’t near the same quality as when we have eaten there previously.
I always go here at least once when in st Joe. I really like their super jambalaya. Great service and atmosphere.
