Pleasant atmosphere and good food
I had such an incredible time here and the food was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth, and the sides were equally tasty. The atmosphere felt really cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a nice dinner. The staff were super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. I honestly cannot wait to come back for another great experience.

My partner had to visit after 20+ years away from Southside. Had an amazing French dip with creamy horseradish (just ask). Though I could get dessert, but was too full! My partner had a burger and sweet potato fries, half came back with us! Everyone was great and talkitive, making sure you were doing good and enjoying the food.

I was really looking forward to having a steak here. The reviews were promising. My experience was not what I hoped it would be. I ordered the flat steak medium rare. It was extremely chewy. The flavor was fine but extremely tough. I couldn’t finish it.
On the plus side, the Mac & Cheese was amazingly good, though.
Disappointing.

Good food, good service, great local flair
Absolutely rotten. Told waitress beef tasted like liver. Come to find out spoiled beef has a metallic or livery taste. Sicker than a dog for three days!!! :-(

My husband and I stopped on our way through for dinner on a Saturday night. We only had about a 15 minute wait. It was worth the wait! The food was delicious! The rolls literally met in your mouth! I ordered bourbon chicken, a sweet potato (unloaded), and green beans. It was all fabulous. Honestly my favorite part of my entree was the green beans. My husband ordered the New York strip, ranch potatoes, and mac and cheese. The steak was a little more cooked than he likes, ( he ordered medium and got medium well), however he said it was all delicious. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stop again. Great atmosphere. Beautiful building.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. At first glance, it looked like a small bar from the outside, but the experience inside was fantastic. The host was incredibly accommodating and genuinely sweet.
The steaks yesterday were outstanding, better than Texas Roadhouse in my opinion. The owner should consider expanding; this place is that good. The salad was impressively fresh, and it contributed to an overall great dining experience. I had a wonderful night out with my boyfriend and was very pleased with the service and atmosphere.

I've been here 2x now. first time I had the prime rib. pretty run of the mill nothing to write home about. today I had the KC strip. it was amazing. cooked over oak I believe, right amount of char, seasoned expertly. I'd get the KC strip every visit.
